Very useful for many concrete projects. Since this was a year that we decided to do a number of concrete renovations: 1, walkway on the side of our house and 2 our back walkway and our back patio. We were going to do a 'overlay' on our back patio, and needed to level some areas on it, so I bought this grinding disc to take down about 3/8" off the edge of this slab that had raised slightly. This worked awesome for it! Took like 5 mins and I was done. You could push this thing hard and really plow thru concrete, but I'm thinking the best life is just gentle pressure and let the tools speed do most of the cutting. Then later, I used it to take off the sharp edges (should have used an edger while it was still setting--but I was a beginner) off our stamped concrete walkway, and it work amazing! I was able to put a nice curved edge on it, and yes it left 'bare whitish' concrete, but I just brushed in some antiquing agent / texture enhancer let it dry and then sealed it and finished walkway looks amazing! Disc was still nice and sharp after doing about 80' of our walkway like this and the concrete smoothing. Great value!

There are not enough stars to give this product. Awesome value for the money. I hope this does not come across as a fake review as many of them are. I am so happy with this product. For the price you can not beat it. The Orange, the Blue and the Green stores ( Home Depot, Lowes & Menards ) and everyone in between have similar tools like this priced outrageously high which is a rip off and an insult to consumers. Now that I have vented about the rip off stores. This tool is a monster at grinding uneven cement quickly and leaving you a beautiful finish. I had a front porch that had an uneven slab thing going on and this tool in my Matabo angle grinder made short work of that. More than an inch difference between the 2 slabs and constant over 5 feet... I was able to grind down the difference and feather it out in under an hour! 2 & a half foot wide feather over 5 feet. The bonus is the tool isn't worn out yet. Still plenty of meat left on the cutting surfaces. To say the least I did not take it easy on this tool as I was sure it would fail but what a champ this tool turned out to be. Very balanced, easy to use, no brainer. I meant to take pictures of what I did with this tool but that's my fault for forgetting before applying the epoxy finish. In addition, this tool comes with adapter rings so it can fit various types of angle grinders.

This fit good on my cheaper Porter Cable grinder (PC60TAG), which is a 4.5 inch grinder with a 5/8" arbor. There were 2 rings included to change the sizes of arbor and the main one that was on there is what fit for me, but the other one looked like it would fit a slightly larger one. The size of the wheel just barely fit inside the guard, and may have slightly ground away a little, but I'm happy that it worked with the guard in place. I used the wheel to grind down a small ledge in my concrete slab to even out the floor and it worked great. This was way easier than what I had thought to do first which was to pour some leveler stuff down. The grinding was very easy to do and the wheel shows some wear, butt definitely looks like it can do more. Be prepared for lots and LOTS of dust. I was in a closed off room, and that helped, but if you have carpet or anything like that around, you should really try to reduce the dust, and make sure to have a mask of some sort. Overall, very happy with my purchase and the amount of time I saved on this hard job. Hopefully you can benefit like I did.

Worked well! took down the high points in the breakage of concrete.

The grinding wheel worked great for the small concrete area I needed to grind down on my homes porch.

This grinding wheel is an absolute monster. It will burn through whatever you need removed in record time. I use one for shaping and fine tuning sandstone rocks destined for walkways (clamped in a Rockwell Jawhorse to hold for positioning while grinding).

Used it to sand a foundation crack before sealing and it worked great. Make sure you use a vac collection system.

This device is 'the bomb for cleaning tile cement off the flooring when changing out tile but definitely get the vacuum attachment, if not the dust will be horrible.

Used it more than a hundred times. Perfect everytime. Does a great job grinding.

Cumplió con su función, la verdad es que no sé cuánta es la durabilidad por que yo solo lo usé en un pequeño espacio, quite exceso de cemento que tenía en el piso para poner mi loseta, es muy rápido así.

I used the grinding wheel to remove flaking paint from concrete. It cut through the paint and scuffed the concrete. It only needs mild pressure otherwise the wheel will cut into the concrete. It prepped the surface well as i am going to tile over the concrete.

Long lasting
