HAYWARD 1082ca Swimming Pool SKIMMER Basket Replacement B-152 Aladdin

I have an in-ground pool. This basket is ideal as a replacement for the one I broke the handle. The size was perfect and fit in the hole like the previous one.

ZERO stars. Do not purchase this. Shipped in a thin plastic bag, no box with protective bubble wrap etc. arrived with rip in shipping bag and product broken in 2-3 places as a result. Immediately requested a refund due to damage with photographic proof and seller had the audacity to offset nearly the entire refund with a restocking fee about equal to the price I paid. In addition to the horrible decision to ship inappropriately and the insult of the restocking fee for items damaged due to their shipping decision, I do not think the delicate build of these baskets would hold up anyway.

I bought this skimmer basket for my inground pool. I went to empty the leaves and debris out of the basket, and the tabs on the inside of the handle broke, making the basket useless. I paid for this in good faith, but when I started a return, the sellers (3rd party sellers on Amazon) did not want to honor it. They tried to refund me $.70 of the $14.03 I paid. This is not ethical for a business. If an item is defective, you should give the customer a FULL refund. It may be the safest bet to make sure what I purchase is sold and shipped by Amazon. Thank goodness for Amazon's Customer Service Support! ***BUYER BEWARE!!***
