PowerBar Protein Triple Threat 10g, Caramel Peanut Fusion, 1.94-Ounce Bars (Pack of 15)

Again, I have to confess, I am not a heath nut nor a label reader. I was at the hair salon one day and someone offered me one of these PowerBar Triple Treat Energy Bars at lunch time. I was ready to go out and buy them at the market - forgot - came home - looked on Amazon and there they were. So reasonable, and now I never am without at least a 2 case-back-up. I have the Prime so I do not have to pay shipping at Amazon.Everyone who visits me seems to like them and I tend to give a lot of them away, but they are really good. Who would think they could have carmel and nuts and chocolate and be a Power Bar? But they do and they do stick with me. I always have one or two in my car and make certain they are upstairs so I can stall dinner if I am busy. I live alone.Do you know I can have Tide delivered to my door without paying shipping with the Prime at Amazon. I am not a shill - but because I live alone and am older, these things help me a lot.

The product is great. Good taste, fairly health-directed, appetite support - but you might want to order these bars when the weather is much cooler. My shipment arrived in late August. The chocolate coating had melted and provided a gooey mess and mysterious covering. Did not affect the taste or other qualities of PowerBar but did provide eye-sore images. Recommended at 5 star for the product itself but earns 4 stars for the shipping problem.

I'm in training for a triathlon (my first one), and these are typically my breakfast during the weekday. I highly recommend. Years ago, when I was training for my black belt, these typically served as my breakfast, alternating between oatmeal, and I did great on that physical test. Once again, I certainly highly recommend.

We call these our candy protein bars, because they taste completely like candy bars and have mouth-feel of them, too. If I didn't know it was a protein bar I'd think I was eating a competitor to a Snickers bar. I use them for protein intake when I'm lightly dieting or when I just need some food in me when I hit a "hunger wall" between widely spaced meals. I order them regularly through Amazon's automatic delivery service. Good stuff.

My picky husband loves PowerBar Triple Threat Bars, and this Caramel Peanut Fusion is his favorite. He doesn't like the traditional protein bars that have that dense texture, and he loves the nuts and caramel and chocolate in this bar. I was bummed when they stopped offering this as a Subscribe and Save product! It was so convenient to have it delivered to the house and actually be saving money from even the sale prices at our local supermarket!

I have one of these for breakfast on a regular basis - enjoy the taste, kick starts the metabolism, and buying on subscription is very convenient!Update: I am very disappointed! This product seems to be discontinued by the maker. It is very difficult to find on Amazon, and even when I do see it in the marketplace, it won't ship to my U.S. address!!

I am used to cliff bars, but thought of giving these bars a shot because they are smaller in size but have the same calories.. But i shouldnt have got the chocolate flavor. Went out for a ride on a hot day and the chocolate melted and made it tough to eat while on the bike. May try other flavors next time.

i'm a big fan of this powerbar and it's not real chalky like some of the other protein bars can be. i like to have about half a bar before working out so i'm not so hungry.
