This was supposed to arrive tomorrow but it was delivered earlier. I also ordered a laptop stand so both laptop and the stand came in a single Amazon recyclable package. There was a dent in the package but otherwise there were no defects with the device. I captured the video as I unboxed just to be on the safer side. All the device specs matched. The laptop looks premium and reliable. The display isn't exactly marvelous but its good and there were no issues when I ran the pixel and bleeding tests. Sound is also okayish. Camera is very poor but the HDR option increases the quality a bit. Backlit keyboard has two brightness levels: default and dim. Battery levels reached 40 percent after usage of 4 hours. It took approx. 30 mins for 100% charge. Heating was minimal with regular browsing. I dont use Microsoft Apps so I uninstalled them and Mcfee trial is for 1 month. 512 GB SSD so I partitioned and created a D drive with 250 GB so that C drive can contains apps and software and essentials, while D can be used to save all my personal files. Changed everything to dark mode as well to save more power. Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase as of now. I will update this review if I encounter any other challenges or issues. Edit 1[Warranty Correction]: So, the 1 year warranty of the device was pre-activated in September, but usually it should only get activated on the date of purchase. This is a pretty normal thing and no need to worry. You can contact HP Support through Whatsapp(contact info available on HP Dashboard). First, a chatbot answers your queries but if its something that needs human intervention then an agent joins the chat. You are asked to provide your Order ID, Product Number, Serial Number along with the invoice(there are three different invoices on Amazon Orders for this purchase, download the Warranty/Pslip pdf as it has the Serial Number on it). Also don't send the invoice as pdf, use a pdf to png converter or better take a screenshot of the invoice and send it on chat. You will be asked to provide your basic info and a case will be opened, and it will be a confirmed through mail. I was told it would take 7 business days for the warranty change to reflect but mine got corrected in a couple of days though there was no trace of case on the HP dashboard. The HP Support response was quick, lasting only less than half hour to get a case opened on my behalf. In case you are a faced with the warranty issue, follow this procedure. Edit 2[After 1 month]: So far I have faced no problems with my laptop.

Best laptop

I have been using this laptop for last 4-5 months. The laptop shows great performance. The only thing I did not like was that the air vents are too small and the laptop slightly heats up for even the simplest of tasks. The laptop is smooth for gaming and everything but the heating issue is a major problem. It does not come with a fingerprint sensor. The battery capacity is good enough for light tasks. The camera is not all that good for video calls or recording videos. The display is not that great if you are a content creator who needs perfect screen contrast and all. Overall it's a good laptop for this price point but id say go for Pavillion series if you have good budget. Rest assured it does you office work perfectly if you ignore the heating issue.

Don't buy this product, received a used product with warranty date months before the purchased date. Also not allowing to replace the product. Allowing only for Service, consider the state of purchaser after getting a new product and needs service at the very first day... Poor customer service from Amazon. Also going with HP Service, they are requesting a lot of information, bills, videos of issues which i should be submitting and spending hours for getting it fixed. Getting a new product and facing all these issues. no words to explain my frustration here. The Installation warranty start date was showing 05-Sep-2025 and the end date as 1-Feb-2026 and the product was received only on 31-Jan-2026. I raised the issue with Amazon customer support team, and they defended it as a new product and did not even ready to look at the proofs submitted, they were so arrogant in defending and their motive clearly showed that they were not even ready to look at the details submitted by me. Unfortunately, the laptop was having network disconnect issues and the only option i had was to raise a service with HP on a Newly Purchased laptop and now i understand why the Amazon was not ready to replace the item as this product was having issues. I have purchased a lot of electronic items like AC, Television, Laptop, washing machines from Flipkart and I did not face such issues with them and this time only with Amazon. My experience with Amazon was very bad and will not recommend Amazon for such big electronic devices.

I bought the HP 15 recently and it’s been reliable for everyday use. Web browsing, Office apps, and video calls all run smoothly. The 15.6" screen is clear indoors, but brightness could be better outdoors. The laptop is lightweight and easy to carry, and the keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions. Battery lasts me around [insert your real number here] hours with normal use. Don’t expect heavy gaming or video editing performance, but for school, work, and streaming it gets the job done. Pros: Affordable, lightweight, good for everyday tasks. Cons: Screen brightness and speakers could be stronger.

Seems to function as expected. Yet, the screen seems to blink on and off every now and then.

Good laptop for students. I purchased this one for my niece he is 11th standard student. After 11 month use the ssd was corrupt. I aproch hp support centre in allahabad. They guys act promptly and replace the ssd with new one. Most important thing is hp technician visited my home which is far away from the city of allahabad.
