Diary of a Taekwondo Master

it's a nice book, but I ended up returning it. The description should say for 5-6 years old

I couldn't afford much for my son's birthday. He started taekwondo a few months ago. I found this book and he loved it. He read it twice in 2 days. It's sure to be a favorite in his library.

Simple storyline. Positive message overall. Some of the taekwondo information is accurate, but some is unrealistic. Also, the Master of the Dojang is a stereotypical Chinese-looking man who contributes little to the plotline. Illustrates how to tie a taekwondo belt. Overall, not a *bad* book and a mildly entertaining read. Could get a child interested in this Korean martial art.

My nine year old son, who takes TaeKwonDo, loves this book! He read it in about an hour, cover to cover. My only complaint is that he read it so fast!

My kids have read this book multiple times each. And we've recommended it to multiple friends. It's got some great one liners referencing kids and taekwondo.

My son is 7 and had a little difficulty reading it himself due to so many thought bubbles but he wouldn’t let me stop reading it to him. The story really hit home for him!

My son just got his yellow belt in Taekwondo and loves this book. Warning for US buyers - it uses UK English spelling. My son is 6 and got a bit confused. We had to have several discussions about spelling differences - but it was kind of neat to explain the differences to him. Treated it as a learning opportunity.

Bought this for my 8 yr old who is in Tae Kwon Do and he loved it. His 11 yr old sister even laughed when reading it. It is a quick read but a good book.

I honestly can,t say, as my granddaughter hasn,t received it yet. I flicked through it, and it looks nicely illustrated.
