Great controller for the price. Wasn't able to program all colors as shown in some pictures.
I bought this controller to use in addition to the Traktor S4, to be able to control stems in a more direct way. It works very well for this purpose. The buttons are responsive, and make clicking noises when pressing them. They need more pressure than the drum pads on the Akai MPK Mini. So the buttons are obviously not designed to be used as drum pads. The lights are bright, but I wasn't able to produce a white, yellow or red button, as shown in the picture. I was able to program orange, green, magenta and blue, on and off blinking as well as switching colors. These were also the only colors described in a mapping sheet, I found online. As I was messing with color ranges as meters, it produced a red light, at one point. This was pretty much accidental and I did not figure out how to program a solid red light directly. Also, I was not able to turn off the buttons in the top and in the bottom. - I guess I have to experiment further, since I haven't found much information except of this one sheet. Behringer's manuals need a lot of improvement! The knobs have LED indicator, which can receive MIDI feedback. They are not as bright as the LED buttons, but readable. The knobs and the indicators are very responsive and are a lot of fun with the right mapping.Bleed of the LED buttons is another issue, which have been mentioned by other reviewers before. Yes, there is a lot of bleed. Especially when you have a turned off LED next to a bright one. I can live with it.The controller is really big. and the buttons have the right size. while the size of the surface is acceptable, it seems to be unnecessary thick. I am sure, it would have been possible to make it half or even a quarter as thick. So it may get some minus points with traveling DJs.Behringer is know for affordable products, an the CMD LC1 is no exception. I use it as an affordable alternative to the Traktor F1 for mixing Traktor stems. - Search for "traktor cmd lc1" to find mappings.

The available deckadance script is not very useful, and unless you are a trained programmer you're ...
While the build is decent, the support for this thing is non-existent. Don't buy it, there are plenty of other pad controllers in the price range with proper support. Right after I bought it I found out Behringer had dropped all support. They never answered my emails asking a few simple questions. The available deckadance script is not very useful, and unless you are a trained programmer you're not going to be able to make a proper script yourself. I found one user made script online that is a little buggy but I prefer to the official one.I never tried it with Traktor. I did try with Ableton and could never get it working quite right. The buttons all mapped alright, but the lights on the pads didn't change correctly and the knobs were useless. It's a shame, if a programmer took an interest in this thing it has the potential to be extremely pleasant to work with. Unfortunately, this thing is a dead product now.

Meh
Awesome controller, only complaint it the buttons are really hard plastic and they click down pretty hard when pressed. Definitly not for launching samples on the fly really fast, more of an ableton controller then anything.

Not too bad, not great
Not sure what the previous reviewer's problem was, I was able to map this controller with LED feedback fine in Traktor Pro and it works out of the box with the included Deckadance software. I give it 4 stars because its still a pretty basic product. Works well for the remix decks in Traktor Pro and for less than $100 you cant really complain.
