This stuff really works. I am specifically referring to the intestines and the act of elimination. I won't go into the details, but all I can say is that taking three capsules per day has revolutionized my bowels. This bilva powder is made from the leaves of a plant called "bael" (Aeagle marmelos) which has been a part of India's pharmacopoeia for 5000 years and is used for numerous treatments of diseases including tuberculosis, diabetes, urinary diseases, epilepsy and digestive disorders. This tastes delicious! Sort of sweet and has vanilla notes. Really unique! Amazing health benefits for digestion. I take this along with Triphala. Really nice to mix in warm water and drink as a tea. I’ve purchased a lot from Banyan Botanicals over the years and I’m never let down. The quality of their herbs are seriously among the best of the best.
