Grandma LaMure's Spice' N Slice (Jerky, Value Pak)

My mother used to use this in the 70’s we got at Smitty’s Supermarket in Mesa, AZ. She’d make for Cocktail parties. I finally found it on where else? Amazon! Makes hamburger into a great appetizer with crackers and cheese!

I had used this product back in the late 70's early 80's and loved it. In about 1990, my grocery store quit selling it and I tried other recipes, but nothing matched it. I recently decided to look it up online and found it is still being made but just doesn't have many stores carrying it. I then checked amazon and found it here! I am so glad to find this and start making it again as my family enjoy it so much. I

My late father actually helped Tom Lamure set up and market spice n slice. My mom made tons of everything for trade shows in Scottsdale back in the day. The original packaging was a polypropylene sealed bag with a cardboard folded card over the top. That was in 1977. Great times.

Don't let this one pass you by as it is a very good spice pack. I used my grinder and processed some beef and pork and then followed the directions. It was some of the best that we have ever eaten. It stores well and retains great flavor. If you like to make your own sausage and don't want all the extra fuss then give this brand a try. The price and the results are fantastic. You won't be dissatisfied.

This stuff is an awesome spice flavoring. So easy to prepare, you mix it with your ground meat & roll it into a small log to bake for 1 hour. cant mess this up, so simple. I used for ground venison & have not tried other meats. I grind my own so it is all venison. If you use ground beef I would recommend the leanest fat free.

Makes good venison jerky, good flavor and easy to use
