A very effective lubricant
I last used this a few years ago on my 4 Runner for the front disc brakes. I just checked the pads last week and the wear of the pads are very even. They look more even than the previous pads when I used silicone paste instead of this brake lube on the brake job. No noise comes from my brakes at all. Seeing how even the wear is I would say this brake grease has been doing a good job. The brush that it comes with is a bit large. I used that brush to stir up the grease and used another smaller brush to dab it on to where I needed it.

Orange brake grease - good stuff
I use this anywhere there is metal to metal contact on a brake caliper. Clips in the bracket, piston face, caliper face that touches the brake pad. I have used the purple Permatex grease, but giving this a try. Seems to work well, any caliper that have come back for new pads have a slippery residue between the pad and caliper, so it does not burn off in a typical use suburban cars. Many calipers, many brake jobs, no pad -caliper squeak, so I'll continue to use this.

Good stuff.
I learned a long time ago to keep my brake pads and components clean and lubed to prevent rotor wear and other problems. I take my truck brake calipers off once a year and clean and lube them to keep them smooth. When I was young I thought my brakes would last forever, but I had nothing but problems with tire wear, shimmies, and pulling. Enough of that.

A little thick, not difficult to work with, but not as smooth as the stuff I am use to. Only time will tell how it hold up long term but so far it seems pretty good.

Works great. It's advised to clean and lube your caliper pins every 12-15k miles. It's quick and easy the second time around. Don't over grease the pins. By doing this it helps prevent the caliper pins from seizing up. It also allows the calipers to slide easy and can save your rotors/ brakes. For cleaning I use the large cotton swabs that they use to clean gun barrels. Works like a charm.

Excited to try out. It’s the all in one brake lube. Read from other reviews and from online responses that it is the best choice when deciding between the purple and the orange permatex. This one is specifically said to be good with rubber and other plastics, so it’s safe and a great option for my 2010 Subaru Forester.

Para ser un producto de aplicación hasta 1649 grados C y de uso en partes móviles del caliper como guías y puntos de contacto con la base metálica de las balatas, sorprende la cantidad de aceite que se derramó del envase durante el transporte, debido a un problema de empacado. Esto ocurre a temperatura ambiente alta de 45 grados C. Habrá que ver su comportamiento en calipers que seguramente estarán por arriba de esas temperaturas en operación normal.
