Very nice product, works well.

we needed additional shade for the corner of our screened porch where the sun comes through. It's perfect bc I can now sit at the table and eat dinner while the sun is going down without being blinded. Before the shade I had to move spots. I had to add additional grommets bc the current ones did not line up with my holes. It did work however the material was a bit thin and flimsy. I limited the amount of grommet work I did and burnt the ends to seal the loose ends up. So bc of the thin material I gave it a 4, however it is doing everything I needed it to do. I personally would recommend the product for the price.

I use these on a deck which gets early am sun on one side and pm sun on the other. I attached these to a PVC pipe which can hang in J-hooks screwed into the roof. I simply move them from the east side and hang them on the west side when necessary. They allow me to see the birds feeding nearby without getting the sun directly in my eyes.

Although this looks great and offers a fair amount of privacy, it absolutely does not withstand New Mexico winds. I have replaced the zip ties twice and during the last windy day, the rivets ripped out of the shade cover randomly on all sides so in the trash it went. If you live in an area with wind, you might want to find something else for privacy.

I bought this so called "shade" to help block the sun from shining into my west facing kitchen. But the material barely blocks any light, it is so lightweight and loosely woven. It hardly makes any difference and the sun is still shining in almost at full brightness. I'm going to have to buy another shade so I can work in my kitchen in the late afternoon. Not only does it not block the sun, it is very see through, so it's not going to provide much "Privacy" either. I call it a fail for all purposes.
