I heard about this ointment on Tik Tok and decided to give it a try. I had a huge cyst under my armpit. It was super painful and nothing was helping to get rid of it. I used the ointment and within 2 days it popped! I could cry I’m so relieved! The ointment itself is sticky and can definitely stain so be mindful.

This stuff really works to reduce cysts of long standing. Best use has the cyst heated up before applying the ointment. Use water proof bandaids to cover the cyst or boils then remove 8 hours later. Only a small blacken aea will be visible, Repeat as necessary.

I bought this ichthammol ointment to treat a boil that developed on my standard poodle’s back. The vet mentioned surgery might be necessary if it didn’t improve, so I decided to try this as a last-ditch effort before going that route. I’m so glad I did!After just a few applications (I cover it with gauze to prevent licking), the boil began to come to a head and drain naturally. The swelling went down noticeably within a few days, and my dog seems far more comfortable now. It does have a strong smell (like tar), but it’s totally worth it for how well it works.This stuff is sticky and messy, but it’s doing exactly what I hoped—drawing out infection and promoting healing. Fingers crossed we’ve avoided surgery altogether! Highly recommend having a tube of this on hand if you’ve got pets prone to skin issues.
