My partner and i wanted to start making our own butter but didnt know where to start so this simple butter churn kit has been amazing! Its so simple and easy to use and is complete with a booklet with instructions and different butter recipes!

We saw this product in use at an event and knew we had to have one. Before we left the event I had already placed the order with Amazon. When we got home, the churn was waiting on our porch. We made butter that evening. It works so easily and effectively. The principle, and thusly the device, is exceedingly simple. Surprisingly, it takes only a few minutes to beat heavy cream into butter. So fast and simple! We love it and are now at the stage where we are experimenting with the addition of salt (how much?) and soon we’ll be infusing some tasty flavors into upcoming batches (cinnamon, anyone?). Homemade butter goes great with my wife’s homemade breads, scones, bannock, cupcakes, etc. and on top of fresh, locally-grown sweet corn. It just feels good to make it ourselves from a little container of heavy cream. We know the cream is high quality, and the machine allows us to make really small (or large) batches - assuring constant freshness. I wouldn’t be without this little gem.

First, this product is good at making butter, that is not in question, the glass seems a little thin, but that is not a huge issue, the main issue I have is with the paddles, they are smaller than would be useful for the size of the batch you can make with this churn, and after a single rinse the wood split and splintered, becoming more rough than before. Just buy a cheap reusable butter muslin or butter grade cheesecloth, it is easier to use and clean.

Wish I could give zero star rating. Fell apart and couldn’t be put back together halfway through the first use. Waisted cream also. The worst part is I ordered a second churn as a gift for someone. Hope it doesn’t take a dump like this one did. If so, I’d be so embarrassed.

Just love it

I've used this churn a few times (unfortunately the return window closed and I can't return it). It does really well to work the cream at first. But, when the cream starts to thicken, the gears won't stay together. They'll become misaligned after a turn or so and I have to manually move them together. Not as sturdy as I would like, but it does whip butter quickly.

Great item, I used it to make butter already and it worked just as expected. Seems like a great quality product
