Speed Champions Lamborghini Countach 76908, Race Car Toy Model Replica, Collectible Building Set with Racing Driver Minifigure

After a visit to Legoland, I was inspired to build this with my son, who’s 9 with special needs. He lost interest right away till it was done, but I enjoyed putting it together. I used to play with Legos a lot when I was a kid, and I’m a bit skeptical about single purpose “non canonical” pieces for kits; I liked to build and tear apart and rebuild. Once this is together, you’d be hard pressed to use the pieces for anything else, about 1/3 of them are specific to this model. That said I was impressed with the engineering that went in to a model this scale that looks so good and assembles so easily, and wasn’t absurdly expensive. An hour of build value for me, then play value for him. The only difficulty for me was that there were pieces left over. I was really careful with the instructions, and I’m sure there was nothing missing, but there was a small pile of extra pieces at the end! (Pictured). As I said, I haven’t built a Lego packaged model in years, if ever, but extra pieces just doesn’t seem right, even if they’re little ones that might get lost. Shrug - I’ll keep them around. All in all good value for the money.

I love this car so much so when I saw this set I was hooked on it. It was extremely fun to build and it looks amazing. It was well priced as well so it was a fast purchase. I would recommend this set for sure

Excellent little build here. Really impressive how the designers got the angles on the taillights just right. With plastic bricks, you'd imagine that would be difficult, but Lego did it. Highly recommend for car enthusiasts or if you're just a fan of Lego who is looking for something different to build. I mostly buy the Star Wars sets, and then I came across these and was intrigued. All in all, an excellent set. Had a lot of fun building it.

I’ve had this set for 4 years now and everything is still intact and the design is top tier!! It’s was easy to assemble and the rubber wheels are very smooth . This is worth the purchase !!

The Lego set was fine, but had to open to make sure okay because box was badly flattened on one end. Should have been mailed in a box, not a bag. It was for a gift, so not happy.

My son just turned 5 & is getting better at following LEGO directions. He’s been able to do the 6+ sets for awhile now, so I got him this one for his bday. We banged it out in about an hour! He did most of it, but there were a few parts he needed help with. There’s a lot of rotating sections that need to be aligned correctly to continue to the next step, but luckily the directions make it super easy to follow. It such a cool build! 👍🏼
