If you use a stylus for note taking and like a textured feel, then this screen protector is great. It is exactly what you want if that's what you need. I love the feel of slight resistance when using the stylus. The screen protector doesn't interfere with using your device without the pen either. I would definitely buy this again. You should be aware of some issues with the screen protector, though. My gripes are really minor and I still recommend the product 100%. The issues I mention are the same for any paper feel screen protector that I have used. -It feels like this type of screen protector dulls the brightness of the screen slightly -The bigger the screen, the harder it is to put on the screen protector. I managed to get a couple of dust particles under the screen that caused a couple of bubbles. I don't know what the manufacturer could do to help with installation, but it is difficult to get it installed perfectly. The bubbles aren't noticeable unless you have a black background up on your screen. The bubbles do not affect the performance of the protector at all. *Issue with my order that does not affect the product or my review: I ordered the two pack and only received a one pack. Also, the plastic envelope that the screen protector came in was bent. The bend caused a bubble on my screen. After struggling with the customer service chatbot I finally figured out how to get a chat with a real person. The sent another screen protector immediately. It was delivered with no issues. Kudos to Amazon for making it right!

Don't have to turn my brightness to max on my surface pro 8 since installed, and it actually does feel like writing on paper. Tough install thou had 2 dust particles stuck that made an air bubble.

I have a similar screen-protector for iPad-pro and I love it. The product is the first for my Surface Pro-9. Installation was not as easy as described. Small bubbles dissipated in two days. Sensitivity of touch screen is reasonably good when using a sketching/ painting app. Writing on the screen in a note-taking app also improved a lot as compared with the screen without the film. No surprise for the performance of this product.

This screen protector doesn’t come with a guide frame, which many other products include. Without it, it’s very hard to line up on a large screen like the 13-inch Surface Pro. I spent over 20 minutes trying to position it, but after many tries, the adhesive stopped sticking. I finally got it right with the second protector. Then came the bubbles. They included a tiny 2-inch cardboard tool to smooth them out, which is way too small for a big screen. Other brands include larger tools that work much better. Now, my screen feels like paper and is protected, but it’s full of bubbles. For the price, not having a guide frame and including such a small tool is disappointing. It’s not worth the money.

Like all other screen protectors of this sort, this thing sucks to "install"; you have to work in a clean environment, your hands have to be clean, and your tablet screen has to be spotless. This is slow, tedious work, and you will almost certainly dork the first attempt; I strongly suspect this is why it's a 2-pack. Once you have the protector on, though, it works as advertised, and is well worth both the cost and the effort.

I recommend this if you wish to use your microsoft surface pro as a notebook and if you’re taking notes. It feels smooth and soft. No noticeable scratches:)

So the “paper like” feel of the screen protector is great, no glare and it makes it easy to write but it’s extremely hard to put on even with the guides. I have a brand new stylus and its only day 3 of me using it to take notes and erase and the screen protector has dulled the stylus tip and chipped some of the paint from the back end of the stylus. If you’re using without the stylus you should be fine…but definitely reconsider if you are.

These paper-like screen protectors can feel a little gummy and difficult to move around on. I found that a very small amount of Armor-All and buffing away any excess helps tremendously with movement on the screen protector. The installation is like any other screen protector. You have to work it gently and progressively to avoid bubbles. Also, it seems that with a little time, the sensitivity improves. Overall, this is a good product.

Good screen protector, fits really well on Surface Pro 8. Pros: - noticeable reduction in glare - gives a nice texture for writing as well as for touch, I prefer it over the glass - image quality and colours still look great Cons: - impossible to put on, I have lots of little dust particles trapped under it - gives white backgrounds a little bit of a "sparkle", but it doesn't bother me This ships with 2 screen protectors so I'll probably try again. Will need someone the next time, because it's really hard to apply properly. Overall highly recommended, but putting it on is really hard to do well.

La pellicola se si presta la dovuta attenzione si installa perfettamente senza bolle e rende la superfice dello schermo molto leggibile in qualsiasi contesto e privo di riflessi. La lettura prolungata di testi o documenti risulta molto confortevole dando una sensazione di carta stampata simil Kindle ma con il plus dei colori. Al tatto, usando lo schermo touch, la sua ruvidità ricorda quella dei fogli da disegno ruvidi ma con una grana più fine che aiuta ad azzerare quasi completamente l'effetto "ditate" ed è (almeno per me) piacevole da sentire sotto i polpastrelli delle dita. Comprata non tanto per protezione del già ottimo schermo del Surface ma per avere un uso più simile alla carta con la Surface Slim Pen 2 devo dire che ne sono soddisfatto solo a metà. Il prezzo è competitivo per il conenuto e la qualità è buona ma per i miei gusti, volendo usare il penninso non solo per scrivere ma anche per disegnare, la grana risulta sin troppo ruvida o forse spessa tanto che oltre a dover aumentare al massimo la sensibilità della Slim Pen 2 non sempre si riescono ad avere tratti di disegno fini e continui come invece avveniva senza pellicola. Anche la resistenza allo scorrere della punta per me risulta un pò troppo elevata e forse era meglio cercare un effetto un pò più semiruvido o da carta comune per le fotocopie. Al momento non ho notato, come altri utenti lamentavano, una particolare usura della punta del pennino ma di certo con un uso intensivo sia di scrittura che di disegno, essa tenderà a consumarsi prima rispetto all'uso di una pellicola tradizionale o del solo vetro Gorilla Glass 3 del Surface. Per chi cerca una pellicola da usare prettamente con programmi di digital painting a scopi professionali non mi sento di consigliarla al 100%, mentre per chi ci disegna occasionalmente, prende sempilici appunti, legge molti documenti e vuole una superfice opaca la consiglio assolutamente.

Fits my Surface Pro 8 perfectly. I used the guide stickers and cleaned it properly. No bubbles, no dirt trapped underneath. The reviews complaining about bubbles are just people that can't put on screen protectors. The feel is a bit rougher than I expected with my Renaisser pen, but way better than the regular glass screen protector!

Impossible to get all thw bubbles out from behind the screen. even a pro shop couldn't get it right

I was really skeptical about this product. I wanted a screen protector I could use while doing lots of art stuff like drawing and painting. I was also concerned about glare because I had a glare issue with my last device. I liked the 'iCarez' screen protectors but couldn't find one for Surface 9 tablets. When I felt the rough surface, I thought, 'I dunno about this... I don't think this is gonna work out.' It's designed to be rough so it feels closer to natural drawing, with more resistance. But I was comfortable with drawing on a smooth surface; I've been drawing like that for a while now. Also, I'm concerned that the increased friction will cause the stylus nib and screen protector to wear down and disintegrate. So far, it's surpassed my expectations. However, I really wish there was an easier way to put these screen protectors on. Whenever I try to put them on, I always get air bubbles from air particles sort of tenting up the screen protector, and it ends up looking horrible.
