It is a funny cool product, quality made, the beard is attached to a separate layer of fabric - so the hairs do not touch your face and do not annoy. I liked the product and look forward to try it on the slope. Though I must admit it looks much more big (and more furry) on the picture on amazon that it is in reality - I guess it was put on a kid as it looks like a Yeti on the picture - on me it looks like a regular long beard could covering lips, chin and neck (and not as long as almost to belly button on the picture).==========Update after a couple of seasons' use.1) It is relvatively hot to ski, so the only time I could use it when it was snowing with wind - great use in cold conditions and very warm, though;2) It straps behind your head on top, so if you are using helmet, it could be a bit inconvenient to wear - you would have to either pull the strap lower than helmet, or adjust helmet strap;3) It covers nose, so if you are using goggles it could put some additional pressure on your nose - nothing major, though, but noticeable;4) In goggles, your breath through the beard is likely to cause fogging - could be avoided by trimming top hairs with scissors;Overall - good warm product for bad weather conditions, indispensible in snow and wind and looks super fun!

I was shopping for a replacement for my neoprene Gator brand mask when I stumbled over this slice of awesome. It's not for everybody, but if you look at inclement weather as a game and enjoy amusing yourself and others in the process, you simply have to have one of these. I'm not sure any article of clothing I've purchased has made me chuckle quite this much.The quality is very good and it keeps you very warm. This morning's -2F wind chill... no problem at all. The mask quality itself is better and this design is far more comfortable to wear than the all neoprene Gator it replaced for me.One thing I'll mention is that the beard doesn't seem quite as large as what's in the current product picture. The length is about 11" and it's about 9" wide on the one I received. This is good news as the one pictured is a bit... too much beard.The looks you get walking to a white collar job in a downtown metropolitan city with this thing ... is worth the price of admission. Enjoy!

Cool face warmer, good design. Balances the look and the function of the mask well. Good quality construction, won't fall apart. Tested to keep my face warm down to about 20 degrees, haven't used in colder temps than that. Overall very good product.Only complaint I have is that it doesn't allow enough size adjustment. That is, there isn't enough velcro on the fastening portion to get it tight enough on my face, I had to add some velcro to allow it to be tight enough. Maybe I have a small head?5 Stars if the amount of velcro had been sufficient to get it snug enough to not slide down the back of my head while riding. Definitely recommend it, though.

This looks like kind of a gag gift but in actuality, works really well to protect you from the weather. It is longer so it works not only as a face mask but also somewhat as a scarf that can be put down inside a jacket or worn on the outside to keep a draft off your neck. The beardski is thin so it tends to lay flatter, while the furry fabric still keeps out the cold. The end of the beardski is lightly weighted which helps it hang down straighter making it more effective. There is a downward pointing opening for the nose which helps direct expelled air away from your glasses decreasing the likelihood of fogging your glasses and it has a filtered mouth opening to bring in air without dealing with the furry outer covering. The velcrow surface that attaches in back of the head to wear is large and makes a comfortable fit. This was a pleasant surprise that something that I purchased more for humorous effect, was actually very well thought out and has helped me face a few very arctic spells.

AWESOME!I bought it for the novelty for a multi-family ski trip, but now I wear it every time I go skiing. Tons of comments in line by people arguing each other whether it is a real beard or fake. I love it! Even the lift operators stop to check it out.So what's the downside? They are minor but there are some.1. Hand wash only2. If it is really windy it can blow to the side a little. Never gets you cold, but flicks in your peripheral vision3. Ices over from your breathing. I actually think this is the best look for the beard, but my wife thought it looked like I had ice buggers coming out of my nose LOL.These are very minor negatives, and notice I give it 5-Stars! It does protect your face, with warmth and looks cool AF. However find a way to tie it down because it will fly up in your face. Get the shorter one.

Let's be honest. We bought this mostly for the novelty. But I honestly didn't expect this mask to perform as well as it did. I bought this for the winter months riding side by sides. In 35 degree weather, trail riding from 5-15mph the mask works amazingly. What I didn't expect was the wind resistance and the warmth of the mask at 50mph the same day. Keep in mind I'm in a UTV. I did have the beard come up level with my chin a few times going so fast but never covered my eyes. Super happy with the mask I definitely recommend and would buy againIMPORTANT NOTICE: People complain about the strap. Well I didn't know before buying but the mask straps around the top/back of your head and keeps your ears warm. I also had a beanie on and had to take them both of for a few minutes at a time to cool down. If you were to use this with a helmet im sure the straps would slide but no problem with a beanie

I originally purchased this because I had never seen anything like it and thought it would get some strange reactions. I certainly did from my wife. As it turns out I live in Winnipeg and have a place 200 km North of there and was doing some work there a few weeks back and the daytime temps were in the -35c range I spent most of 3 days working outside and although the beard was completely frozen I was as warm as toast. I would recommend it to anyone.Cheers stay warm my friends

The looks on the ski hill and in our snow shoeing group are lots of fun. Only thing is that the mask is very warm - only to be worn on really cold days.
