Easy to use and clean, and very effective.
Easy to set up, and found out that mice like raw peanuts (who would have guessed!).Found one waiting in the trap and duly took it it outside to the far corner of my garden to release it.

It works. But please read the bottom tip:
This works very well. It's a sturdy design and the mechanism works well. It is a good size too and would work for other small mammals like voles, shrews, etc and perhaps smaller rats as it is quite roomy. I can see this great for catching escape artist pets. However, one night, one stubborn mouse managed to somehow escape the trap (I still have no full idea how, but I think it could have been where I placed the trap rather than the trap itself), but this was after a GOOD few hours of trying desperately to escape.Luckily, it couldn't resist the addition of the delicious allure of a green, crispy M&M and enjoyed a trip back into mouse-jail two days later... Just make sure you don't decide that you need more sleep as it's 2am and can't be arsed to check the trap after it's gone off and wake after 5 hours to find the trap empty. To emphasise, this was a one-off event and only with one of them.I bought a cheaper non lethal trap from the high street to try catch them more quickly and in case other 'friends' became wary of the trap, but neither of my uninvited guests even bothered to check the other one out in comparison.I'm happy to have bought this and has solved my cute but gross pest problem within a few days. I now need to figure out how two wood mice managed to get in my home; climb a huge fight of stairs and use my bedroom as a B&B.A very good non lethal alternative.*A TIP*They go absolutely bananas for a mixture of Nutella and Bird seed. It's like crack for them.I used peanut butter before and a few other foods with much less luck. Make sure to stick it down to the bait part of the trap at the back so they have to work for it and have to step on the pressure plate more. Also, make sure to have the trap tilted slightly downward so gravity helps the trap mechanism close.

These really work and are easy to set and use
Okay, this trap seems fragile, but thus far it has held up beautifully, and has worked a treat. The mechanism that works the trap is very sensitive, and has caught a mouse every time I've set it. It's very easy to empty the mouse out, and to clean the trap, if need be. In fact, you don't really need to take the bait end off to bait the trap, but simply open the entry part of the trap and slide the nuts through to the back of the trap. I recommend nuts, rather than something sticky like peanut butter or chocolate, because nuts are dry and don't make a mess.I have been in a position to empty the trap more or less as soon as the mouse gets caught, so I don't know whether the trap would resist chewing if the mouse was desperate to escape. But if you are vigilant and check the trap frequently, these traps are a dream. Furthermore, the floor of the trap is solid plastic, so if the frightened mouse urinates, the urine doesn't escape. Very easy to wash out afterwards. How long each trap will last, I don't know. But they are inexpensive enough that it wouldn't be a problem to have to buy them again.Highly recommended, if you plan to check the traps frequently.

Great Simple & Pain Free Traps "Catch & Release"
Update "11/10/23"My daughter was still says she heard noises in the night ans I said we have caught all the mice but to ease her mind I set it again and sure enough I checked the trap at 3.00am and it was caught. To date thats a total of 5 mice caught and released. I hope to god thats the last one at least for a while... Great traps though.Update "28/9/23"Following my inital review, I decided to just keep the traps set for a night or two and low and behold I got another 3 mice. I must have had a family of 4. The traps worked 100% and now they are all been relocated away from my house. I then cleaned the traps out with a garden hose and now they are ready for the next visitors hopefully a long time in the future. Great Job and I now have a clear conscience. My initial Review of thee “EGOFLYYA Humane Mouse Trap”Dated “25/09/23”I bought a dual pack of the mouse traps as I thought you have double the chance of catching it or them to begin with. The traps as simple to set and also leaves the traped mice enough room inside the trap to move about overnight without causing them as little stress as possible. Also the traps themselves have plenty of air holes. Now I set mine up when I knew it was going to be quite which encourages them out into the open and within 2hrs one was caught and you will know straight away as the main entrance door is closed. To be honest when I saw the caught mouse, I didn’t know what to do as I thought the mouse would panic as I came near the trap but funny enough the mouse remained very calm and I was able to lift the trap with the mouse inside and walk about 100 yards and simply open the door and let it go.Were I think some of the bad reviews of this trap is coming from, Is that people are jamming it up against the skirting board which mean the door is stuck and will not come down. You have to leave about 3mm for the door to come down from the side of the skirting board. My trap worked first time and it down the job perfectly without hurting the mouse which I my book is the whole point of this type of trap. This is a 10/10 product and works very well indeed. I hate hurting any animals of any kind and you should considering this type of trap over any spring loaded one.Great Job.......

Doesn’t last long
Used this product a couple times and worked perfect but then started to notice the food had gone from the trap and the shutter/trap hadn’t closed. When I looked at it the trap step was pushing down and the trap door wouldn’t close, this happened to both the units supplied so was not a 1 off.
