Review: I ordered this because I was broke and I wanted to wax my face. I have PCOS and suffer with a lot of hair growth I’ve tried it all bleaching, waxing and threading, even shaving on frustrated bad days. Anyway, I thought I could stretch my money buying this to not only wax my face but whatever else I wanted too. I’ve been dreaming of waxing my entire body and I have the bravery and desperation now to try it myself. At first my impression was that the wax was really cheap and that it wouldn’t be good for beginners who have never gotten waxed and have never tried to wax themselves. It would be too painful. The first couple times I tried to wax myself over the previous years have been very painful, time consuming, and I never follow through. After some time of getting professionally waxed my hairs aren’t thinner but they are used to be removed so they come off much easier than before. It took me a while to feel out the wax and adjust to using it but once I figured it out it worked great. I am not a professional I’m just a hairy woman who dreams of being soft, feminine and hair free. Some tips I have are to scrub/exfoliate before waxing to release the hairs that could be trapped under dead skin. Don’t moisturize after and dry the area throughly. If you have some powder use it if you don’t I didn’t but it would help. Make sure you layer it on thick against the hair growth, leave a decent area that isn’t picking up hair to have somewhere painless to pull from, let it dry completely and pull with the direction of the hair growth quickly. I do large sections but they can be painful so do whatever you think is best for you. The wax has the plastic feeling that is just right and pulls GREAT. It pulls course hair and even ALL the microscopic baby hairs. Me and my boyfriend were shocked to see it. The melter is great I love the digital screen and temperature control definitely works. Better than the one I brought in the past I have no complaints. I’ve found the best temperature to keep the wax on when waxing is 150. I’ve been able to wax my face, my armpits, arms and half leg because of this so I’m happy with it. I did have to order extra wax but the wax that came with the set is definitely enough to do your full face, armpits, and full arms with some left over not sure if I used too much wax but hopefully this puts it into perspective for you. On a final note I would like you to know that I am someone who cares a lot about quality of products and quality of ingredients. I don’t think this wax has the best ingredients but again, being broke, I said f**k it. Im glad I did because the wax pulls the hairs out very well. I would say the melter is definitely worth the price love that it comes with sticks. If you’re someone who doesn’t like the ingredients you can use whatever wax you feel comfortable in the warmer and keep the wax the bundle comes with for emergency. The digital display is really the game changer and makes it worth the price compared to others. I will also say that I have sensitive skin and this wax did not burn or irritate my skin. Just be careful and always look at the temperature of the wax one small accidental movement of the dial can drastically increase the temperature. You want it just warm enough to be thick like a gel and spread nicely but cool enough not to burn when applied to the skin try between 140-150 and blow first. My armpits are so soft :) Review: This thing saves me a ton of money not having to get a professional wax each month. Worth every penny. I have used it several times now. I do full-on Brazilians! Everything must go! The wax works great and smells kind of nice, like vanilla. It melts quickly, and the knob works great to get it to the perfect temperature (*Be sure not to apply to your skin any hotter than 180 F. I didn’t read the manual first and burned myself down there!). You don’t need to clean out the metal pot. I put just enough wax in there that I use almost all of it. Then you just let it cool down, and you can reheat what little residue is left the next time you wax. The kit comes with some extra things that I don’t use, like maybe moisturizing/cleaning towelettes or something like that? I can’t remember because I don’t use the extras, but thought it was a nice touch that it includes those little things people might not realize they need. I prefer to apply rose or cucumber witch hazel to a cotton pad and blot the whole area after waxing to calm and cleanse that delicate skin, followed by a shower with a gentle cleanser. I hope to re-order the wax soon. I think I will get years of use out of this handy contraption!

UPDATED: original first review is the second paragraph. I love this wax kit! I’ve had to deal with embarrassing facial blemishes that my epilator left due to dealing with hairy issues pcos gives you. It’s been over a month(if not a little longer) and the facial hair now comes in smoother and less noticeable then it did with the epilator. I don’t have to wax as much anyone, when I started I had to wax twice daily and now it’s just once a week. I love this product and I will be ordering a refill on the wax beads! Where has this been all my life!!! Must buy! I forgot to mention- ladies with pcos - my skin (over time) started to heal where I had use the epilator on my face, no more facial blemishes or in grown pimples. My skin looks normal and I wanted to cry earlier when I noticed it and my face feels so smooth! First time buying an at home waxing kit and it was totally worth the buy! I thought it was going to be a painful hassle but it is very easy to use and definitely a lot less painful then using an epilator! For someone who deals with the cons of pcos (ladies if you know, you know) weekly or sometimes twice a week having to use the painful tweezers or epilator becomes annoying and inconvenient. So far, my first try at this pulled everything out on the first try and for me at least was a 3 on scale of 10 of painful. I’ll have to see after a couple tries how the hair grows out after waxing vs epilating.

I love it. You see the difference I suffer from PCOS and often have chin hair, which drive me crazy I forgot to put powder on the chin and that was gravely painful but you see the difference a lot of hair came out some didn’t because the book just explained that the colors for coarse hair is blue or red kind of confusing, I would like it if they explained it when I was reviewing this product online the temperature is kind of confusing because even if you put a little bit it goes up to 200 they don’t really explain to you in details about the temperature and I don’t like it how it goes from off and maximum and then it tells you digital, but it doesn’t tell you I would like it if they had marks and in a book I like it if they would tell you the waxing cream is the temperature and the blues in this temperature or the red is this temperature . I also think that the wooden stake doesn’t really help I would like it if they do it like a mini spatula that would probably help with the waxing more better, but overall is great

This has been one of the most useful Amazon purchases I’ve made to date. I don’t visit a salon to get professionally waxed so I can’t compare the two. However, I can say that using this at-home waxing kit has given me long lasting smooth skin that was unachievable by shaving with razors. Pros: * The kit comes with all the supplies you would need. I chose this one over others because it also included gloves and a soothing pre/post waxing spray. * The wax beads are separated into small resealable pouches so you can work on a single targeted area if you choose. * The warmer is incredibly simple to use and quickly melts the wax beads to the perfect consistency. The temperature can be easily adjusted to cool the wax down if needed. * The hard wax itself was phenomenal at removing all unwanted hair. It is not entirely painless (you are ripping hair out of your body after all) but the benefit of this type of wax is that it adheres to the hair without ripping your skin. I achieved smooth results without any signs of skin irritation. Cons: * It takes practice to learn the correct wax consistency needed to get the best results. This is not a fault of the wax warmer or beads. * You absolutely must wait until your body hair is a decent length in order to get a good pull from the wax (ideally 1/4”). If you’re someone who can’t stand feeling stubble or the thought of letting your body hair grow out, this might not be the best option for you. Overall this was an affordable and simple waxing kit to use and I’m very pleased with my purchase!
