Not a good purchase!
I bought this steam mop after much research and I am very disappointed to say the least. The vibration mechanism stopped working after the 3rd use and the cord is not long enough to do a average size room. If you are looking for a steam mop that is worth the money, do not buy this one.

Only regret is not getting it sooner
UPDATED: Original review still follows, however I have updated the rating and am adding this because at one year and one month old (aka one month after no longer under warranty) this mop just stopped working all together. No vibration, no steam, no power at all. It worked well for its short life, but having spent over $150 (when non-fitting replacement pads added into total), a year is too short of a life-span to rank above "its ok"************************I bought this as a Christmas present to myself. It was money well spent. There are a few drawbacks, but overall, it is great for the price! Our house has only one room - one of the bedrooms - with carpet still remaining. The living room, 3 bedrooms, bathroom, dining, kitchen all have tile flooring. We live in a rural community with lots of dirt and lots of rain, so lots of mud when the 2 collide. And, with a teenage boy, 2 dogs, a cat, and a working man - none of whom realize what a door mat is for - you can imagine how often I have to sweep. Mopping, though, got pushed to the back burner quite often, as I have lower back problems that get exacerbated by anything requiring stooping.I tried other ":time saving" mops, most notably one with the foam that us supposed to erase anything, but everything I ever tried left a film on the tile that, though not necessarily obvious, I knew was there and always felt like the floor was no cleaner than it had been before my back hurt.I was up late one night and saw an informercial about steam mops, and decided to do a little research for a better price while still good quality. This mop is the one I decided on, hands down. And when I got it, and plugged it in, I felt like I could be making my OWN infomercial. The mop comes with 2 microfiber pads, which attach with velcro and are QUITE secure. I went through both pads and was only 3/4 of the way down with just the living room. The dirt just KEPT coming up! The pads were nearly black with all the old dirt this thing had steamed up, and unfortunately, once they are dirty they do need to be washed and air dried. It's unfortunate, because they take more than 24 hours to dry, at least in my environment. The instructions say specifically to not machine dry them. But, wait, I had ordered replacement pads! So out those come, and ... WHOA, wait a minute... replacement pads are a different breed than the ones that come with the mop, and use a drawstring rather than velcro (that would be a different review). They aren't microfiber, but plain smooth cotton, and hence, have less surface area to collect dirt with and so get filthy 5 times as fast. So it took 4 pads (2 microfiber, 2 replacement) for me to finish my living room the first time. And even then, once the remaining water evaporated, I could see areas that were obviously not as clean as other areas (shiny versus matte). 3 months later, and I am still struggling to keep pads clean and dry enough to be able to finish the entire house within a day or 2.On the positive side, though, the vibration feature means no scrubbing, or if something is really ground in, very LITTLE scrubbing. That's great for the back. The light weight and fold-able handle means that when it's time to put this baby to bed, it's a one-handed job to maneuver it into a closet or other designated storage area. That's great for the back too. And, the pads that come with it are very very easy to change out (instructions tell you to place pad onto floor velcro up, and place steam mop on top of pad and push down - can it get any easier?) which is really great for the back! So, there are lots of "pros" to this steam mop. The price, the vibration, the folding, the light weight, and it is quiet (when vibration is off). Also, it does have a small water receptacle, but this was a pro for me, not a con, because water weighs quite a bit (so when a larger tank is full it would be significantly heavier than when this one is full). The "cons" are not deal breakers: extra pads the same as original are hard to find and not cheap, steam button does not have a hands free on button (you have to hold the button down manually to create steam) and well, it's purple (not a con if you like purple).Overall, I am glad I bought this mop, but if in the future I find myself needing a new one, I will look into one with more conventional sized pads, and probably one with a better capability of soaking up the water left behind.

2nd steam mop I purchased, it works fine.
this is my 2nd steam mop. The other one I had wouldn't fit under low items, like my bookcase, coffee table etc...This one has a nice swivel head, isn't heavy to use. The cord could be longer, have to use extension cord. Cleans well.

Worked great
The steam mob worked as advertised and we love it. The only potential problem I see is went I tried to find the mop heads so we could have more than two I was unable to locate them. Lose your mop heads and all you have is some useless plastic.

Wrong wiring!
Dear Amazon.comAs a resident of the UK using 240v electric appliances, I was surprised to receive my new steam mop wired to 110V! As I couldn't use it, I really cannot review it! I had to pay £61.00 to have this item shipped back to America, which I hope, as promised, you will reimburse this expense.Regards.AnnM

mostly satisfied
I purchased a Sienna AquaPro steam mop recently as I have mostly hard surface floors. Once I had too much water coming out of the mop and it made a muddy mess. After washing & drying the pad, the next time I used it, it seemed to work. Constantly holding down the "steam" button wears out my thumb however.
