Does nothing. Button is useless (does nothing) and no power is ever transmitted through the device. I bought this to run a small 500w heater inside an offroad trailer to prevent the water tank and lines from freezing on particularly cold days. It's currently 32 in the trailer and this hasn't turned on. Additionally, the highest the temp has been in the trailer in the last week is 42 degrees. This is supposed to turn on at 35 and off at 48 but doesn't actually do anything other than cost you money and time. I was an idiot, and ordered a replacement for the first one that didn't work, but forgot to return that one, so now I've paid for two of these useless things. Run away.

Just what I needed

I purchased two of these before the 2022-2023 winter. Both worked all winter long, perfectly. When I reconnected them for the 2023-2024 winter use, one of them no longer worked at all, one of them worked as expected. I purchased a replacement for the one that didn't work, but the replacement didn't work or right out of the box. I wouldn't recommend this brand. I have since purchased a competing product which is working perfectly.

Turns out this is not very useful to keep the patio ventilated when its hot outside. Normal thermostat in houses is usually 78*F so for outside fans to reduce excessive heating I would only need it to blow above say 80 or 85*F when its normal 78*F it should be off, so I need them to make this option. Any way to open these and adjust the range or is it hard wired ?

My water pump froze up, no water that day :( this operates exactly as I wished it would! EZ to use and very much an energy saving product!
