Completely happy with this purchase! The Kitchables Double wall glass coffee mugs are NOT glass but visually you can not tell. The Kitchables Double wall coffee mugs work so good it doesn't matter.The cups are lighter than a traditional mug, sounds like a solid plastic when setting down, the handle is a good size. The handle is larger than a traditional mug but not as big as the extra-large coffee mugs where you can wrap 2 hands around it. I have smaller hands so I can pick it up comfortably with wrapping my hand around the cup and placing 3 fingers inside the handle. I can also use up to 4 fingers inside the handle to pick it up. Comfortable to hold either way.The Kitchables Double wall coffee mugs displays your coffee aesthetically pleasing whether it be plain black coffee or with creamer. The most important thing is they keep your coffee hot longer than a traditional cup. If your like me who suddenly starts moving around once the coffee is made they are perfect for you! I can set it down go throw a load a laundry in and comeback and my coffee is still hot.I've been so pleased I have purchased other size Kitchables Double wall coffee mugs.

I've been a huge fan of double-walled glass mugs for years. While a lot of people use them for cold beverages, we almost exclusively use them for coffee, so that's the perspective of this review.One thing that is a downside of all glassware of this type is that it's fragile. Every couple months, someone in the family will drop one of these and unless it lands on a stack of pillows, it's gonna break. It's become a running joke in the house; hear breaking glass, pick up cellphone and order a couple more mugs, because we love having coffee stay warm for like an hour or two instead of 15 minutes in a normal mug.I will say that the glass on these particular mugs feels just a little thinner than a few others I pulled out of the cabinet to compare. But, I put it down several times, on a granite countertop, trying to handle it the way I'd handle any other mug, and it's still in one piece.When I inevitably need to order more, I will try to see if this seller has a type that doesn't have a handle on it. The insulation provided by the glass makes a handle unnecessary, and with such a very light item, that handle just increases the odds of accidentally sending it flying off a table.All the edges are smooth, no visible differences in workmanship or material from similar mugs that were more than twice the price - though I will again say that the material does feel a little thinner. If there are no surprises (I'll update this if there are) this is my new go-to coffee mug when I hear that inevitable sound coming from the kitchen :)Oh - one thing where these do really exceed expectations. The packaging! One of the annoyances with ordering glasses of this type is that maybe 20% of the time, they arrive pre-shattered. If a delivery person can break these things, it's likely because they are a retired pitcher from at least a AAA baseball team. These things come packed better than a lot of very expensive electronics gear that I order.

These things are rocking my world. Look, I get up in the morning, pour myself a nice hot steaming cup of the best coffee I have ever found, and by the time I'm halfway done with the cup it's @#$% cold. NOT what ANYONE should have to live with in this modern age.Enter Kitchables' coffee mugs. These wonderful cups may have just saved me from a murder conviction. They keep my delicious brew hot. Or at least very warm by the time I hit the last 3 swallows. Really, I'm down to the last sips and there is still heat there. Here's a bonus... I'm not scalding my hand holding that cup. The insulation between the outside world and my coffee makes my morning better.Let me also address something. I've seen complaints about these being fragile. Um.... it's GLASS people. They can break. So far I have not broke one. They appear delicate but I have popped them down on my granite counter top a little too hard and not caused any damage. I can guarantee that if I dropped on on my tile floor, it would be a major explosion. :) Conclusion... DON'T BE CLUMSY! :)I can comment negatively on only one thing about THIS purchase. There are just a little bigger than I desire for a cup of hot coffee. Yes they hold a lot but I think the smaller size would be more manageable while reading the paper (or tablet in my case). On the other hand, this size is wonderful for iced coffee. With the ice cubes and coffee you get enough caffeine to move your emotions.I will be ordering the smaller size also. The quality of these are quite impressive. And, damn.... they look good.

These are some great mugs. I used especially for my espresso in the mornings. They keep my coffee warm for a long time. Is almost like a thermos. Of course it does have a time limit but keeps my coffee warm enough after pouring. Give them a try. Thanks

I have used double wall glass mugs for years now. I like them. But, this is my first time using these taller ones. The wider, yet same capacity is what I'm used to. But, they were not in stock, and decided to try these. Well, these are good in every other way. In fact they seem to retain the heat a bit longer than the wider ones, which would stand to reason. However, stability becomes an issue. I haven't done it yet, but these are less steady than the counterparts when setting them down. Also, clearance in less when taking the lid off in the microwave, and I already had a spill. My fault. Becoming a little less steady as I age I guess. But, this is my 02 cents worth

Love the shape. Easy to clean, keeps beverage hot and glass is nice and thick to reduce risk of breakage. We have owned other makes. This is a lovely cup at a lower price than a more well known brand. Would buy again. Would definitely give as a gift. Great packaging to protect if you are going to ship as a gift. Highly recommend.

Not only are these beautiful to look at, they also keep the hot bevs hot for longer!. Since the the insulating factor is the 'dead air space' inside and is sealed, I worried a bit that microwaving could cause pressure to build and result in a fracture. So far, miking cold water for 90 seconds has been ok. If I do manage to break one I would definitely repurchase.
