Skat Blast Sandblasting Cabinet Abrasive Sifter Screen 1360-16

I do a lot of blast cabinet work in my business and a lot of debris gets into the media. That's the clogs the system so high dump The media out. I run it through the sifter and I'm ready to go again. Quick, easy and it does a great job!

I can now use this sifter screen to sift out the crud in my baking soda sand blasting media. I cleaned my shop vacuum real good and then used it to suck up the baking soda in my fabricated sand blasting tent and on the driveway. Once I have it mostly vacuumed up, I pour the contents of the shop vac into the sifter that is placed on a 5 gallon bucket and all the junk that would clog up my nozzle gets filtered out of the media. One thing I don't like about it is it is just about a hair smaller than the 5 gal bucket. I fixed that by just cutting the middle out of the lid. As other's have said, with the shipping, it gets a little pricey but considering a 50lb bag of baking soda is about 50 bucks, it will pay for itself in no time.

It's a nice screen for filtering my blasting media, just a bit over priced for what it is I feel. Plus mine doesn't quite fit a home depot bucket quite right.

I finally got around to using this. It works really well and it built rock solid. I think it will last a lifetime.

This sifter cost a little more but is perfect for removing the little rocks from play ground sand to use in a sand blasting . I have tried several and this one works the best for me
