10Ft DuaLock Tape Measure

For a 10-ft tape measure, I think you can trust these Lexivon tape measures to give a very accurate reading. They're beefy but still small and light and fit so easily in the pocket that you don't even know they're there. And I really like the handy button option as well as the locking mechanism. I got the three pack for $17 and change. Pretty dang good value.

I love this little tape measure. The actual ruler is light but very stiff, which is helpful when you extend it far into the air. The casing fits great in my hand and has no bulky edges. I prefer using it cause of its handy size. i very much like the little stop button on the bottom for quickly keeping the extended ruler in place while pressing it.After mine was getting wet It started to rust on the edges of the ruler which i think is due to the harsh and humid conditions down here in Louisiana. Since i registered my tape measure with the company (EACH of theire tools have a SN) Lexivon kindly replaced it and customer service was quick and very kind. i will buy more tools from them in the future. i think its a quality brand with great pricing. I hope they can extend theire product line.

This was a great small tape measure. Lasted 18 months before the tip broke off. To be fair, I used this at my job every day, all day. So it actually held up very well.

This is a very well made product and is quite accurate. I purchase set of 3 for 3 young grandsons and product exceeded expectations. Quality features include, very easy to read calibrations. There are SAE and Metric calibrations on the underside. There are 2 locking mechanisms... a quick hold button on the bottom (which I rarely find on more costly tape measures) as well as the typical lock/hold mechanism on the front. Another indication of quality is that the tip as attached with 3 rivets, not 2 as is typical on lower cost products. I purchased these for young boys as a learning tool, but the quality is worthy of regular shop use, when < 10' is needed. My only issue is that this vendor used FedEx... which is an absolutely terrible, undependable, never on time shipper. At least this delivery was not lost, just late because according to FedEx "this deliver experienced problems"... I am so surprised!!

You know the frustration of knowing you have a professional tape measure some place but can’t find it and you have to search for it just to complete something. Well these little guys are perfect for around the house. Keeps stress level down and keeps wife from asking you questions that makes you even more heated.

I purchased this because I wanted a compact tape measure with a blade wider than the usual 1/2 inch, but after using it found that the "temporary" lock button on the bottom in addition to the "permanent" lock on the front was its best feature. It also seems well-made.

I work in a wood shop and was looking for a something under 12ft that had incremental markings not just the whole inches. Some of my coworkers had similar ones and I like how it’s much faster to read. I bought these as they fit the bill and the price was hard to pass up. I keep one at work, one in my home workshop and one in my drill bag. Couldn’t ask for more. As for durability, I can’t speak to that but if it lasts a year of shop use I’ll gladly buy it again.

These are great and cannot be best for $12. My husband and I are doing work in different parts of the house and it has been a pain having to go in search of a tape measure. I am re-doing cabinets which requires awkwardly positions in order to measure, and I needed a tape measure that could hook and be read on both sides. Cabinetry is also very anal retentive...I needed to be able to read to the 16th’s of an inch without having to count which 16th I was at, esp with my old eyes. This tape measure “measured up” and I highly recommend it!!!

Clear markings easily to read

Very surprised with these measuring tapes. They seem quite sturdy and are not too small, not too big. Very nice design with the locks. The only thing I'm not a fan of is that the tape retracts extremely fast and sharply! Many time it spooled back and bit me in the fingers! Aside from that I'm very happy with these measuring tapes. Will probably buy more for my colleagues!
