My fist Autel scanner was an AL319 OBD2 code reader purchased in 2016. But vehicles are more advanced now and require high tech specialized equipment just to diagnose anything. The AL319 did a wonderful job for what it was meant for, but I needed more. I came across the MaxiCOM900BT and it had everything I needed and more. It had the most features for the money, right in the middle. What was important for me was the Bluetooth connectivity, no wires tethered me to the front seating position, I could walk around freely. The bi-lateral scanning is amazing; reads and erases codes, turns switches on and off for testing. The 8” screen is plenty big, bright and clear to view the live data with. With the auto-vin scan it knows what vehicle it’s connected to. There is so much more this scanner can do I’ve only touched the surface and I’m learning new things with each use. I’ve used it on two of my personal vehicles and compared to taking them to the dealership It has covered the cost of the unit itself and then some. Save yourself some money and headaches the dealerships put you through, get an Autel scanner, you won’t be disappointed.

I recently purchased an Autel scanner Maxicom MX900BT due to all automotive manufacturers cramming excessive amounts of technology into their cars to the point that it's almost impossible to perform any kind of maintenance on them without one of these devices. This isn't my first Autel as had purchased the MX808 non Bluetooth model then realised that the separate dongle I bought from Autel later wasn't compatible (no Bluetooth duh).So I madea return them picked up this model and it was the best decision I made. The 900BT comes with a dongle so you can be outside your vehicle and operate your diagnostic scanner and are not restricted with cables. It has a big screen, a kick stand (which happens to hook over your steering wheel for some hands free goodness) as well as a camera. This runs on Android 11 and is effectively a tablet (if you choose to use it as 1) and allows you to watch videos, listen to audio with its built in speakers but most importantly it is a very powerful tool for diagnostic purposes. It has most major car brands diagnostic software with updates available for the first year. I highly recommend adding one of these units to your arsenal of workshop tools.

The Autel MaxiCOM MK900BT is hands down one of the best diagnostic scanners I’ve ever used. The 8-inch screen is crystal clear and makes navigating the menus very smooth. It connects via Bluetooth quickly, which gives me the flexibility to move around the vehicle while running tests. I was impressed with how many active tests and reset functions it offers, covering well over 40 different reset options. It works with newer protocols like CANFD and DoIP, which future-proofs it for modern vehicles. I’ve already used it on several different makes and models, and it performed flawlessly every time. The bidirectional control is especially useful for quickly testing components like ABS, windows, and actuators. Compared to other scanners I’ve tried, this one feels faster and more professional. It truly saves me time in the shop and makes diagnosing problems much easier. I highly recommend it for both professionals and serious DIY users.

I work at a dealership and our proprietary diagnostic equipment requires wifi connectivity. So if you’re doing brakes on a vehicle that has an electronic parking brake and the wifi goes down, you’re stuck waiting until it’s back up again. This tool helps out with that. It’s saved me for programming keys, epb, and more than a few diagnostics. It’s taken a bit to get used to how it’s set up, but I’m learning my way around it. Customer service is prompt (I had some questions and got same day or next day answers), and friendly. No issues giving this a 5 star rating.
