Carhartt Men's Textured Knit Henley Relaxed Fit

We ordered this shirt for my husband and it was Large relaxed fit. This was something we didn't notice in the product description. When he put it on it, it was like he put on a big and tall shirt. We thought about ordering the Med Relaxed fit, but decided that the regular large he already has (bought years ago) fits perfect. The problem is we couldn't find it in this shirt in the regular size large. Also, the knit is a bit wider than his old shirt and more like that of long johns. The cool thing is if you ordered it from amazon directly you don't have to pay shipping when you send it back and they give you your refund right away (they did us since we shop from them often). Carhartt is great. This shirt is just not to our liking.

Seems to be fairly well made, looks and feels durable, a little rough on the texture of the fabric, I do not like the way it feels against my skin. Looser fit than expected, somewhat large and baggy so I would go one to two sizes smaller than normal.4.5 star rating: 1/4 star off for rough fabric, 1/4 star off for looser fit

When you first wear, product its slightly big just like all carhartt products. But after you wash its going to shrink significantly. I suggest buying the size you would normally wear. I'm XL in all shirts I wear, and I purchased a L because of Carhartt's reputation for running "big". I'm very disappointed that after washing and drying that I can not wear this shirt anymore.

Carhartt textured longsleeve henleys run true to size, so longsleeve henley did not fit as well as shortsleeve henley after wash/dry cycle. Will order large for textured longsleeve henleys and medium for shortsleeve [not textured knit] from here on out.

This shirt was purchased as a gift for Grandpa. He like the weight and the fit through the chest. (He's on the short size and found the it a little long.)

He wanted something that wasn't going to be nipple showing skin tight and I think this shirt was perfect. It looks exactly like the picture. Relaxed fit and the material is thick. Not something you would layer a shirt over. He likes it and I think he looks hot in it. Would definitely consider getting another one in different color.

This shirt is very comfortable. It's slight long (not the arms, only the bottom), but otherwise a great fit. The cheaper waffle shirts tend to be thin and shrink when washed. This is a mid-weight shirt and has not shrunk after being washed a couple times.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He works outdoors and wears this type shirt. The material was soft and has washed well and held its shape. The color has not faded either. I would definitely buy these again in other colors.
