Nathan SuperShot 1.5 L Water Bottle, Blue/Electric Blue

I love this bottle. I fill it up before I leave for work (I have a half mile walk from the train station)... I usually drink about 1/3 to 1/2 of it on the walk. When I get into the office, I drop a handful or two of ice in -- love the wide mouth lid for this, I can shove two of the huge semicircle ice cubes from the ice maker in at a time -- and top off the water. Then I'm good until at least lunch, maybe add more ice, and I'm set until I head home. Throw in ice before I leave the office, and I've got ice water that lasts me the rest of the evening.My only complaint is they don't make any sort of insulating sleeve for it... but with some cut-up pieces of yoga mat and duct tape, I have a "koozie" that keeps my ice water icy cold, and somewhat reduces condensation on the outside too :)UPDATE: In January (2017), I dropped the bottle and of course it landed upside-down right on the cap, cracking the cap. I contacted Nathan Sports to see about purchasing a replacement cap (their warranty clearly states that accidental damage isn't covered). What'd they do? They got my name and address, and sent me a new cap completely free! I feel better about the environment (only having to throw away the broken part instead of replacing a perfectly good container too) and my wallet (you can't beat free!). Customer service like this is hard to find, and even if they HAD charged me for the lid and/or shipping I still would've been okay with it because the service rep was polite and professional, and they got the replacement shipped out quickly.

So glad I purchased this bottle, I had a surprisingly hard time finding exactly what I wanted, even among the hundreds of options on Amazon. I basically wanted the basic style and function of a common bottle but bigger! There weren't many options in this size, and a lot of the bigger bottles had extra features that I didn't really want i.e. jug handles, but this fit the bill. It's a great big size, though still manageable; the grey is attractive and versatile; and its really affordable at about $12.Included pictures compare size to a soda can. Also shows that the mouth is actually soft! Its not a negative to me, but I admit I was surprised when I took my first sip.10/10 would recommend. Enjoy!

Great water bottle. I was looking for a very large (40 oz or greater) water bottle that was clear and had the measurements on the side. I'm actively trying to drink 3 litres of water a day, and this task is easier to manage when I simply have to finish two of these bottles. I can easily keep track of my water intake and reach my daily goals more effectively. I really like the small mouth nozzle for easy drinking, (I had a 32 oz Nalgene and it was odd drinking from the wide mouth since it did not have this sports bottle style top) and also that it is attached to the bottle. The wide mouth lid that opens for filling the bottle also has a no-grip rubberized finish, which makes it great for securing and easy to open despite being tightly closed. I highly recommend this bottle to anyone in the market for a really large water bottle.

I love the size of the 48oz because it helps me drink more water throughout the day. It's close to a gallon if I drink 2 a day so I like that I don't have to keep refilling multiple times a day to get to my gallon goal. I just take it everywhere with me since its easy to carry with the loop lid. I like that it has a narrow mouth top and a wide mouth top if I want to put ice in it. The silicone mouth piece is great too. Just a good water bottle overall. Also, Nathan Sports has a lifetime warranty so I know if anything ever happens to it (which its been perfect so far) then I feel confident they will replace it.

I am loving this water bottle! It's a great push for me to drink more water during the day. I don't need to get up and fill a smaller bottle more often and encourages me to drink a lot. It's easy to carry around even though it doesn't fit in a cup holder in the car. Luckily it doesn't leak so I can keep it on the passenger seat next to me without worrying about it spilling. The cap is easy to unscrew and drink from and the spout is nice and small so I don't spill when drinking. The hole is big enough for me to fill it with ice cubes too which I like. I'm definitely happy with this purchase!

The size is nice, functionality of it is nice, better than a flask, is annoying carrying something heavy and bulky making lot of banging noise. This is convenient, and it reminds you to drink water. But the small twist cap is not that great. In a month it’ll come uncapped easy, it deals, but if you hold the bottle off the loop, cap comes off and you make a mess. Hope they work to improve this, because this really made a difference from a really good bottle from a mediocre one.

This is the second time I've bought a water bottle from Nathan. I still use mine all the time, but this time I bought this larger size for my boyfriend. It's a great, durable bottle, and I love that the mouthpiece is covered. It feels cleaner than the Camelbak bottles with the fold-down nozzle...I also hate straws in my water bottle, so I like this one because its straw-free. It's also a small enough mouthpiece so you don't accidentally get water on yourself like with a Nalgene.

Bought this for my teenage brother to take to basketball practice. He needed something that would hold more than two sips of water at a time but was easy to hold, carry, and clean. He's not very gentle with his bottles and this has held up for a month so far with out a scratch. He's very sensitive to smells and so far no mildew smell, I'll update if that changes. The only part I'm worried about breaking is the strap that holds the lid but he doesn't carry it by that loop so I think it'll be ok.
