LifeStraw Personal Water Filter for Hiking, Camping, Travel, and Emergency Preparedness

I have purchased a third party case for the LifeStraw and it works well. The nice thing is this is made by LifeStraw, and it is slightly cheaper than the third party one. It fits the LifeStraw nicely, and it is the best way to go after using the water filter. Often times when I take a drink from questionable water and I blow it out, there is some residual water that leaks in your pack. Sure, a zip lock bag to put the straw in is a great option, but this keeps it dry, as well as nice and tidy in your pack. One recommendation is after a trip of using the water filter or even during the trip, let the case dry out to minimize any molding. I rinse it in clean water and let it dry. This is a good way to keep things organized and dry in your pack when you are on a trip with questionable water that you have to drink for a hike through or a long trek. I hope this helps.

Lifestraws are great, but they are breakable. For a survival item as important as a water filter, it totally makes sense.
