Great Quality, Great Value. Super easy to take off.
I do recommend this soft top as it adds a great look to your jeep and it is great quality. It encouraged me to do more with my jeep. Bestop made this soft top to be the exact opposite of a pain in the ass and simple while keeping it quality and sleek. Installation will take a few hours but is worth it. KNOW THE WINDOWS NEED TO BE HEATED BY THE SUN AND ALLOWED TIME TO STRETCH and uninstalling takes minutes, and stays assembled.I've wanted this soft top for the longest time. I have a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited and it fits and looks great. The installation was a bit of a pain but if you get a friend and watch their installation video, it really helps. The only trouble I had with the installation was that there were a couple screws that did not fit in the designated hole. I triple checked if they were the right ones for the right spot and they were. I found some other screws in my garage and just used those instead. I'm not sure if anyone else had that problem. Also the other issue was that the window panels were very tight fitting. I figured that because they were new. Once they were left in the sun long enough the side windows fit. In order to get the rear window, I figured out that putting the soft top in the sunrider position or even unhooking the middle hooks but not folding it back, relieved tension and allowed the rear window bar to snap into place. The windows may take time to stretch and weren't easy the first couple times but I got it. Throughout the summer I used it in every position offered. Sunrider is so easy and I even throw it back when im driving lol. Putting it back all the way is easy too. It's possible to do it alone. The greatest position was the bikini top. It is the best way to drive and after taking my doors off for the first time ever, this was a great feature.Today I realized it was time to take it off due to the changing of the seasons. There was nothing online about how to take it off so I figured it out on my own. Let me tell you, it took me 5-10min to uninstall it. AMAZING. I was in heaven because I was dreading such a process. Take your windows off first then you just unsnap the pins in the very back on your slanted roll bars and remove as you would if you were putting it all the way down. Then unscrew the door frames. Easy work and it's all assembled for next season for a QUICK installation.

Water tight and great look
Replaced the Factory soft top on my wifes 2016 JKU with this top after the factory top started leaking (3 years old). took about 2 hours to replace it, but that was due to my rewiring the aftermarket Sirius antenna. Overall, the install went very well. I had two issues. The "relief straps" that screw into the new top track would only allow me to installed 4 of the 5. I completely broke a screw off on the correct hold that was identified in the instructions. I had to drill it out and went without it on the other side. Besttop did not drill those holes in the correct diameter and I was too lazy to fix this. No adverse affects at this time (approximately 3 weeks of daily use this far). So far my wife is very happy with this top and the increased visibility in the rear window is much better. I have noticed road noise to be slightly less than the factory top.

Rear Window Is Main Complaint
Very nice top. Looks very good and install is not very difficult if you watch the video and are somewhat mechanically inclined. I had 2 minor issues: First was attaching the stay straps in section 15. 2 of the pre-drilled holes are not threaded correctly or are the wrong size. When putting in the screws they broke very easily. Even though I was being very careful and even more so on the second screw. The holes in question are the inside screw holes of the 3 bow. The other minor issue was installing the cable guide cover. The nuts and screw are small and there is very little room to maneuver and I have skinny fingers. Finally got it on after about 15 drops and loosing the nut 5 times. My major complaint however is the back window. Maybe it won't be so bad after it warms up and has time to stretch but I think a design change should be considered. The overall concept is great but the major flaw is locking it into the tailgate bar. It doesn't really lock. Having a latch or some sort of notch that actually holds it in place would be better. It's been 3 weeks since my install and the temp has been 70 or below. I'm hoping once it warms more that my back window will stretch some and stay put in the tailgate bar when I open my tailgate.

Grab some extra screws
This top is awesome. Easy to convert, fits well, looks sharp, and even kept the road noise relatively low driving the highways between north and central Texas. The only bad: installation is time consuming. Read the instructions completely before starting, and have the Bestop produced video ready to watch for any step that challenges you. Also: get yourself a box of 3/4” lath screws. They include just enough to install, and if you strip one out (you probably will) you’re in trouble.

I wanted desperately to love this top.....
It has the awesome fastback look while being able to fold all the way down like the OEM soft top and you only needed one person to do it. If I didn't live in a place with so much rain, I probably would love it. Unfortunately, it leaks and it leaks a lot. I tore it apart and rebuilt it thinking it was something I did incorrectly, but that wasn't the case. I've had to take the plugs out of the floor in the trunk due to all of the water collection after the past 2 months of owning it. I've been reaching out to Bestops customer service through their Facebook and website for over 2 months to try and rectify this issue as well as a defect in a plastic piece that made it damn near impossible to "glide" together without 4 people tugging, pulling, and aligning. The first email got "lost" in their system and I've had to harass them to respond to anything else I've sent over. Too bad I sold the hard top thinking this product would do it's job. I understand it's new, and there are bound to be some bumps along the road, but the poor customer service and unwillingness to fix a factory problem really leave a bad taste in my mouth. Overall, looks great, but don't buy it if you live in a rainy area.
