I luv this pan. It is so easy to take the pies out it. They will not stick and the bottom comes out. It is great for fruit pies like apple and peach, high sugar pies, because of the non-stick coating and the removable bottom.

Like all of the other Zyliss products I own, this pan works perfectly. No issues with leaking or removing the bottom.

I'm afraid I completely misjudged what I was getting here. I thought it was a cake tin and that I could use it to make my Christmas cake in, but it is much too shallow for that. It is a sandwich tin. As such it is of very high quality. I like the loose bottom feature! Just don't make the same mistake I did...

Firstly, this is just my first impression of this item and not a full review as, as of yet, I haven't yet had the opportunity to use it as intended and so "test" it to be able to write one. While I haven't had this cake pan with a removable base for long either, the bigger reason for this is that I had the very bright idea months ago to throw away any cake mix boxes to "save space." 🥴 Yes, yes, I know. This pan arrived looking exactly as pictured, however, upon removing the paper packaging, I immediately noted that it was already damaged. When you lift off the base of the pan, 2 dents are revealed - one bigger than the other - on the bottom of the other part of the pan. Being that the dents are not uniform in size and shape and the fact that I've seen one of these pans before and don't recall ever noticing such a thing, I'm certain that these do not make sense to have on there. In effect, while there will be a difference in consistency between something like cake batter and water, I mean...if I pour water into the cake pan, is it normal that it should drip out of the bottom? I'm fairly certain that it is the position of the dents which are preventing the pan's base from sitting flush on top of the other part of the pan, and so from forming a seal to keep the water completely contained. Again, I haven't yet had the opportunity to actually try using this cake pan to make a cake but, as it stands, it doesn't appear to be worth the cost as the damages that it came with literally more than likely make it basically worthless for what it is meant for. As an aside, it seems as though the material of the pan scratches quite easily. I should note that the pan was delivered to me in its own box. I feel as though I should also point out that I also ordered their nonstick baking sheet, and it arrived with a dent in the back and a ding or 2 on the edges. It was also delivered to me in its own box. I will try to get pictures on here at some point soon, but I just find it a little telling that I received 2 different items in 2 different packages on 2 different days from the same seller and yet they both came with some kind of damage already.

This dish has a 23cm diameter,a tough double layer of non stick coating and a removable base to help lift out your cake once baked.
