It's a fantastic AC in it's class

This AC is so efficient compared to other 1.5 ton Ac’s.We usually use it 18 hours a day due to our pet. The power bill is with decent rate. Daikin is also reliable.But this Ac doesn’t have display on indoor unit to show temperature and this Ac doesn’t have any smart features like app connectivity or voice assistant

No proper cooling

I bought this AC in June 2022 from a local vendor after my 14 year old AC started consuming about 450 units per month with frequent breakdowns.This AC is very power efficient. They have used larger coils/radiators etc. so that passive heat transfer happens without the compressor/fan having to overwork. The compressor creates very less vibration and sound. I can hear my neighbour's compressor but not my own unless it is in PowerChill mode. Even then it is a calm sound - like it is handling the task effortlessly. Indoor unit is also silent especially when you turn on the silent mode. This AC consumes around 50-75 units a month compared to 300-500 units of my old AC.However there is one problem - the indoor unit makes a few popping and cracking sounds once every 20-30 minutes as if it is going to fall off the wall. It is possibly due to thermal expansion and contraction. The sound continues to occur once in a while even a few hours after the AC is turned off. I don't know if this is a problem with the design of this model or if it's just a one-off problem with my unit or its installation.Some reviews are claiming to have installed it before 2022, they are probably talking about a different model because this model (FTKF50UV16T) was launched mid 2022 and I was one of the earliest buyers. I had to wait for distributor to get the delivery from Daikin.

Daikin products are fraudulent.. I bought this Ac almost 2years before(offline). But it never run properly and never get a proper help from Daikin costumer care because they also want to cheat their costumer on different types of charges.. and they also don't have proper engineer with proper degree instead they send local mechanic (without any degree) to repair for ac or any type of complaint.. in 2years my ac get full fill with colling gas four times.. and i found my inner unit is also a repaired one from company... it's very disappointing when you pay your hard earned money and get cheated in this way..
