Excellent Certified Life Jacket!
I bought this life jacket for my son before a trip to Panama City Beach. He weighs right at 35 pounds and I had a hard time finding one that would both fit him properly and function correctly. This one did a great job! It worked well in both the ocean and the water park to keep him safe and bouncy bouyant. I'll be buying again when he sizes up, and getting my daughter's from this brand from now on.

Excellent adjustable lifejacket - fits a 2 year old and a 4 year old with no problem
We used Speedo lifejackets for my two older children and they were fine, but we always wished that they had a strap in the middle to keep the lifejacket from riding up in water. This Stearns puddle jumper life jacket is just as good as the Speedos but has the added benefit of having the strap. The jacket is adjustable, allowing it to grow with my child. He's 4, and this fits him with space. He's entirely comfortable in it. It also fits my 2 year old.The design is cute. The kids like it. I prefer kids items that are less cartoonish, but I suppose that, in this case, it's not all about me. :DNote, we're using these on a gentle lake to keep the boys afloat in the event one of them falls into the water, but are going to practice with them first in the tiny pool at home. Practice is so important. Lifejackets are a great tool and even legally required in a lot of jurisdictions, but they only work if used properly. Children need to understand how to move in a lifejacket - teach them to roll onto their backs and keep their head out of the water or the lifejacket will be pointless.

Great fit and very cute
With 3 kids 5 and under and a lake behind our house, we definitely like to have plenty of life jacket options. We ordered this and a puddle jumper style life jacket from the same brand recently and really like them both. I really liked that they come with cards that go over teaching your child to float on their back, information on ratings for different jackets, and how to test for a proper fit. This standard style works great on both my 5 year old who is 41lbs and my 3 year old who is 39lbs although I think I would struggle being able to get it tight enough around on any smaller of a child. If my 3 year old had a smaller frame, it may be too big. I think both boys both prefer the puddle jumper style because it looks cooler and has less coverage for staying cooler but they still like this one too. We really like the adorable bright patterns and the color changing pattern is a lot of fun for the kids. We also like the ease of adjustability and once adjusted feel nice and secure. We even tried the picking up from the shoulders technique suggested on the included card and it didn’t budge.Overall we really like this life jacket and it seems like we will be able to pass it down from kid to kid. We would definitely recommend this especially if you have multiple kids.

Fits well, kids like it
This is a pretty good vest. My son is 5, 45lbs, the vest fits him fine, but I don’t see it lasting for more than a season for him. It also fits my 1.5-year-old, who is 26lbs. Both kids like the color changing feature, they keep taking it to shower to see how it changes. The vest feels comfortable and the seems are good as well. The buckles are easy to use even for a kindergartener. Overall, we did not find any flaws.

My Toddler is Still Afraid to Put it on
This is a lot better than those life jackets at summer camp that I grew up with. I never realized just how flimsy they were until I got this in the mail. This is a USCG approved class 3 pfd, so that's certainly reassuring, as were often near a small river every week. It's very pretty. I got the octopus-theme and am excited to see how the colors change once wet. So far my toddler screams when i put it on her, she's not used to the constricted feeling, I think. So... I'll update if anything changes after we actually put it to use.

Fits the 4 Year Old Perfectly!
I ordered this for my 2 and 4 year old to use. While my 2 year old is in the weight range suggested for this, it definitely fits my 4 year old better. My 2 year old is slightly stocky with virtually no neck and the life jacket gets right up under her chin and makes it hard for her to move. I think we'll stick with an older style that I have on hand for her and use this primarily for the 4 year old. It fits well and feels well made. The biggest selling point for me was the fact that this life jacket is coast guard approved. There are places to cut corners and save a buck, and anything regarding your children's safety is not that place. Definitely worth it to get a good life vest!

Fits well!
I have a 2 year old and a 5 year old and this life jacket can fit either of them! I like that it is adjustable so if one kiddo picks this life jacket it can accommodate them. My kids like the coloring changing aspect of it as well. While in the pool, the 5 year old is able to float along without us have to hold her up. The 2 year old is still too afraid to let go of us but knowing how well it holds my 5 year old we know it will help in case my little one needs it. The material is durable and well made, and it seems to dry pretty quickly. Overall we are happy with this life jacket.

Fits my almost 5 year old well
Fits my almost 5 year old well with some room to grow. It seems very secure and safe. He was in the pool with it, but he's too reluctant to try to float out, so I'm not sure how well he would float in it but it feels like he would. He played in some blow up boats with this on and we felt safe enough to let him.
