Worked just as advertised.
Very well made. Easy use and is washable. My toddler broke his elbow and needed to hold his arm still for 6 weeks. Trying to keep his arm in place with a sling and ace bandages was impossible! After wrestling with them for two days and both of us frustrated, I ordered this and had it the next day. This is smooth and quick to take off and put on when we change his clothes. It keeps his arm in place just as shown as advertised. It restored my sanity and was a life saver!

Solid and super comfy immobilzer-torn rotator cuff tendon and fracture of greater tuberosity humerus
Absolutely fantastic for head of humerus and rotator cuff injuries! If the hand/forearm aren't injured/dont need to be immobilized, you can simply not use the waist wrist cuff. Perfect for maintaining shoulder immobilized at all times, even sleep. I am now back to vinyasa yoga, with modifications of course, because of this immobilizer.

Good Sling Option
My husband dislocated his right shoulder. The sling provided by the ER was poor, and I had used something similar to this one when I had a dislocation, so I ordered it for him. It is easy to put on and holds the arm close to the body. When correctly positioned it immobilizes the shoulder. It could be improved for elbows and shoulders if a support was added for underneath the elbow. The size was a little smaller than expected, but at only 140 pounds, 32" waist, and not overly muscular, this fits. I would say if you're concerned about the size, size up. The immobilizer is of good quality and will work well for many.

Great product, very comfortable but size up if unsure.
This item was great, but the size chart is not clear. I measured as it said to, I was 39" so I ordered the size 30"-41" and it was too small. It is 41" long to the tip so there was very little overlap, and it felt tight. I had to return it for the larger size that says 42"-54", it is much better, very comfortable. FYI, when I measured it, it is only 51" long not 54" so order the larger size if your close to the limit. I have a non-union fracture in my left humerus, and this helps keep my arm at my side and still be able to type and use both hands. I love the black because it looks ok with everything, my old one was blue.

Arm sling taking pressure off the shoulder
It works well, holding the arm up and taking pressure off of the shoulder.

Keeps my arm safe yet functional
I ‘ve recently tore two of the four pieces of my rotator cuff. That can be extremely painful if I move it in the wrong way. I used a sling for a few days, which was very restrictive. This item keeps my arm safely tucked in but it allows me to use my hand. It’s also comfortable in summer’s increasing heat. I can even wear it to work out.

Stiches came loose, and a perfect restraint otherwise.
It does the job, in all the right places. However, the stitching has to be hand sewn after 3 days, on the wrist restraint part. Not an easy feat with a torn rotator cuff. If I didn’t need the restraint so badly, I would have returned it. It’s actually well made, and well thought out, aside from the feeble stitches.
