I was awakened at 2am to the sound of something crashing down in my hall closet. When I got up to see what the commotion was, I found my little 6lb cat up on the top shelf in the hall closet. She had jumped up onto the top shelf and knocked all of the plastic storage boxes down. So, I immediately went hunting on Amazon for a good way to keep my cat out of the closet. She has managed to figure out how to open the sliding closet doors! I came upon these door straps by Neobay, and knew right away this was what I needed to stop my sweet girlie from causing mayhem again. Although they were made to let cats in and keep dogs out etc., I found a way to use them on my sliding closet doors. I purchased the basic ones ( without the Door Slam Stopper). As you can see by the photos, they work like a charm. My girlie can no longer open the closet doors. She is quite perplexed by the new straps. 🤣 But at least I get to sleep in peace tonight! I would absolutely recommend these Neobay adjustable door straps if you need to keep you cat out of the sliding closets, or keep the dogs away from the cats food or litter box. They are very versatile, and can be used on more than a regular door. They were very easy to install. I am a paraplegic, and do not have good use of my hands, but I had no problem installing these. If I could give them 10 ⭐️’s I would!

The adhesive is much better than expected. It has no problem keeping strong toddlers out of rooms they don’t need to be in

One of my slippers keeps the door from closing. Just the right size for my cats to be able to come and go. My dogs can't even fit their heads thru it lol... Needed it to stop my Great Pyrenees from eating cat food.

Used these years ago when my son was little and knew when my daughter started walking we definitely needed them again. They're really sturdy and definitely worth the peace of mind. I can't recommend them enough!
