Brake light doesn’t work,
Brake light doesn’t work, it will light up intermittently. Tried cutting the wires and hard wireing but same issue When the head lights are on the brake light does not work, the lower voltage when the head lights are on is not enough to trigger the brake light

It DOES FIT 2010 - 2014 Gen 1 Raptor. With some common sense, and watching a how to you tube if needed, connects perfectly and all functions work as intended. You have to connect wires in a very specific way (in particular the brake light wire). Excellent product thanks!

This does not function on the Gen 1 Raptor (2010-2014) as the product advertises. Yes, the wires DO plug into the Raptor’s harness with the additional wires the manufacturer provides, but the brakes DO NOT FUNCTION with this wired the way they tell you to, and does not function no matter how I wire it in. It will appear to work, but it actually does the following: - with headlights off, the brakes work normally - with running lights on, the high mount brake does not illuminate but lower brakes do - with headlights on (light sensor covered on dash), the BCM does not read the right voltage from this product, and the system is shorted. This causes lower the brake lights to be on ALL THE TIME even without you applying the brakes, and the high mount does not illuminate. This is a HUGE safety issue, not having functioning brakes. There is a reason this product is cheaper than the OEM or other after market options. Just because it plugs in, does not mean it functions. Order the OEM part number or a decent aftermarket light like GJ (OEM part number for RAPTOR only : AL3Z-13A613-G

The white bed light dosent shine down, it shines straight out. This light does not illuminate the truck bed very well at all. The brake light itself is good. The wiring connections almost make you have to “rig” it. Use electrical tape to make sure wire connections don’t pull apart from driving over bumps or shorting out.

Its a pretty good unit. Couldnt be simpler to install.

From what I can tell from customer photos is that I was given a completely different light that what’s plug and play for 2012 F150 raptor. I have two light slots and I still have a power cord is a plug-in. There’s nothing for it to go into.
