Great additional ports, low on power

My Dell laptop won’t boot up with this plugged in, using my original Dell power adapter. I guess the device bleeds some power off, so the laptop sees lower voltage. I have to unplug it, boot the laptop from the battery, and then plug it back in. Then it works fine. All other features are great.

Docking Station for Laptop

The media could not be loaded.  I use it for my work and personal laptops- it has worked flawlessly so far. So far, the best thing I love about this device is that, well, it just worked. Seriously, I've got it plugged into the USB-C port of my laptop, running one screen and hooked up to 1 HDMI monitor and another USB 3.0 monitor, plus my USB wireless headset, and they all work. I just plugged in everything, fired-up my computer, and they all worked.

No extended display; only duplicates

This docking station did not allow me to *extend* my displays; it only *duplicates* (i.e. both connected monitors show identical images).

Great basic hub - Works with DeX/Phones - Everything I needed!

As someone working from home and the office this hub did everything I needed it to. The 3 USBs were enough without being cluttered– keyboard, mouse, backup drive. It will TRANSFER power (this is called PD - Power Delivery) to charge your device through USB c plugs. Basically if you can charge your laptop (phone, tablet, etc) through a usb c cord you plug it into this dock instead and then when you plug the dock in your device starts charging. Charging worked with my android phone(s) and a chromebook. (To test before buying, try your USB source directly to the computer, if it works then this docking station should too!)Not all devices support everything over USB c (some don't do video, or charging - however whatever hub you use would run into that same issue. There are usually markings beside your port.)The 3 USBs is all I needed and appreciated the small footprint. My hardware limited me to 1080p x 60 hz (1920x1080) on HDMI but that worked perfectly, either extending or mirroring my windows 10 or chromebook display (I can't speak to apple). I don't have a fancy setup but the specs say you could do the second external monitor with a vga cable. When for fun I plugged my Samsung S21 in I found out I now had another computer! I hadn't known much about DeX, but it gives you a desktop like experience with an S8 or up flagship phone as well as a bunch of other samsung devices. This docking station worked great with the S21 (although a prompt did come up saying it is a better experience with genuine DeX accessories). Again it charged the phone as I went. When I tried my work phone (Galaxy A52), it mirrored my screen, however I could still use the keyboard and mouse to type emails and generally work quicker. This device gets it's power through either your computer or the external power source that you would use to charge your device (no included or needed transformer). Generally if you are docked you will be charging your device anyway. As a non-scientific test I tried copying some large files from the internal SSD to an external USB 3 nvme SSD and the speeds seemed to be the same regardless if it was direct to the laptop or through the dock. Which means it is more than fast enough for my windows backup to do its thing every hour.In the end this product delivered everything it said it would. I don't do a lot with SD cards these days, however it is nice to know they are there. Similar to the internet port, my wifi is plenty fast enough, but if you are hardwired it is one less thing to plug in. It is so nice being able to plug in just one cable and have your computer all setup!*extra useless that I wanted to include, but didn't want to confuse anyone *My work computer is a Dell with a Dell docking station. It uses the round Dell plug (19.5 V @ 3.5A) to charge the laptop, and the same plug goes into the Dell docking station. The Dell docking station then will charge the laptop through the USB cord. So for no other reason then to see what would happen - I tried passing that through this hub. It made some funny (buzzingish) sounds that electronics aren't supposed to make - as the hub struggled to figure out what to do with this probably higher than spec'd voltage. The computer did not recognize a charge and within 30 seconds I unplugged it. However what impressed me is the hub remained unscathed and continued to work with the other devices. That dell hub is rather expensive and they used to fail quite often on us at work so I couldn't justify getting another one for when I'm working from home. This hub however is a great fit!

A Sturdy Docking Station With Awesome Versatility

The Quuge 9 in 1 docking station is a versatile and reliable unit, compatible with both PC and Macbooks. It comes in a very presentable retail box, with every packaged very nicely and securely. The unit has a durable body that should last for a long time. It's a versatile 9-in-1 dock that includes USB 3 ports, a USB 2 port, USB C, a charging PD 3.0 port, an Ethernet port, an SD slot, a TF slot, and a 4K HDMI port. All the ports are nicely organized and labelled. This unit is pretty simple to set up thanks to the clearly written instructions. No more plugging and unplugging all the accessories when I want to switch from desktop to laptop mode. It also charges my Macbook as it's connected. Overall, this is a versatile and inexpensive hub that makes life more convenient. Full marks from me!

Multi-functional and versatile USB-C dock, HDMI 4k@30Hz, VGA/FHD, 3x USB3, GigE/ 90W output

This is a fairly decent basic multifunctional USB-C dock that provides power (via PD), HDMI/VGA, Ethernet, and plenty of USB3.0 ports. It's advertised as being capable of 100W; however, in reality it can only supply a max of 90W to the laptop as most others do because certain amount of power is reserved for the functionalities of the dock itself. Unfortunately, unlike many other similar USB-C docking stations out there, this one only supports 4K@30Hz via HDMI and resolution drops to 1080p/60Hz when VGA is used which is a shame.≡ Specs & features* 1x 100W PD (Input, 20V/5A)* 1x 90W PD (Output, built-in cable)* 1x HDMI 4K@30Hz* 1x VGA 1080p@60Hz* 1x Ethernet (GigE)* 3x USB 3.0 @ 5 Gbps* 1x SD/TF reader≡ What I like✓ Dual display (HDMI + VGA)✓ Plenty of USB 3.0 ports (3x)✓ Fast data transfer via USB 3.0 port when connecting to an external USB 3.0 dock✓ Nice and clean physical build and appears to be well made✓ Compact and portable - can be carried around with ease (though it has an odd shape of one side being thicker than the other instead of flat all the way through like the vast majority of others are)✓ Plug'n'Play - I was able to use it right away without issues≡ What I don't like✕ 4K video only supports 30 Hz✕ Incapable of supporting 4K (HDMI) and 1080p (VGA) at the same time✕ No 3.5mm port✕ Runs a bit warmer than expected when in high load/charging≡ ValueIt's a fairly decent docking station that's capable of dual display albeit only 4K@30Hz in single mode and it's reasonably priced at $55 for what it provides. It does have plenty of USB 3.0 ports but some others have caught on with USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10Gbps) ports which this one doesn't have.

USB-C Hub/Docking station with multiple ports

I needed a USB-C hub to add USB/HDMI/SD&TF ports to my existing laptop and mini pc that both have a USB-C port that was available. With this hub I can connect the multiple Hard drives, Thumb drives and memory cards I use to transfer data between each device, add an external HDMI or legacy VGA monitor. The hub also provides a USB-C PD port (what’s this?) that can be used to charge the latest devices such as phones, tablets, watches, earbuds etc that use a USB-C cable. To test it out I used a USB-C (male) to USB-A (female) adapter to connect and charge my old 6th generation iPad that uses a USB-A to lightning cable to my mini PC.Everything works well and I’m happy with the hub but I find it gets quite hot even when there are no devices transferring data.
