Came broken, returned it and bought locally
There’s no packing material in the box. I think I got a return based on condition of the box. But the edges were badly chipped. And the exposed board felt like paper. So a little bit of water and it could get ruined.I returned and bought locally. Checked the condition in store and all good.Great easel, really solid. Just make sure free returns and you inspect for damage right away.

Perfect!
I have both a medical need and personal preference for being able to move my work surface to where I want it, rather than adjusting my body. I was concerned I would be surface size limited - but, when it arrived I was using it on day one and I was delighted! You get 3 securing cubes to hold other boards on the support board (which you can use also)…I left one cube off and my largest board will fit. I love this and use it daily (for multiple mediums) since it arrived. I highly recommend. Well built and I see it lasting a long long time.

Great Odd Angles!
I got this so paintings/drawing would be easier to work on positioned at the angle of my choosing. Great design idea for an easel, re-positions easily, made with sturdy materials, and stores nicely under my the bed. Also the two holders can be unscrewed and repositioned - there are 5 holes total, 3 for landscape and 2 for portrait position.Possible Challenges:- Wood pivoting ball underneath might be a little wobbly but can be stabilized with wood glue - however you couldn't unscrew it afterwards if that's the way you'd store it.- Surface can be tilted down to touch base, but overall height isn't adjustable.- Socket must be very tightened to keep surface in desired position - thankfully tightening handle is easy to grasp and turn .- Holders have a 5.25" gap in landscape and 6.25" gap in portrait position (too wide for what I was working on so I created trays to compensate)- Only two holders provided - hopefully Daler-Rowney can be contacted directly for more - I didn't see it in the easel accessories on the their website.Note: I'd buy it again if given the choice; the easel is unique and now excellent tool in my art supplies.

Perfect Table Easel
I have 3 of these. All in use for different projects. Very strong. Easy to move around. Angles beautifully.

Not Good Quality... AT ALL!
DO NOT BUY THIS! It's junk! It's made out of MDF which is pressed cardboard. If it gets a little wet, it swells or warps. Plus, the screw handle underneath is very cheaply made. My nut, in the handle, came out the first time I used it! It should be made out of water proofed Birch plywood, but it isn't. Send me an email and I'll make you a better one... by far! But it will cost more as mine will be way better. I had to rebuild the top of mine the second day I had it, out of plywood. Good concept... terrible build quality.

So far, so good
I know it has had some bad reviews but I am very happy so far. I hope it holds up as I'm really enjoying it. It seems quite sturdy.

Great easle
Sturdy table top easle, you can adjust the angle and it holds a 16x24" board without any problem. As another reviewer stated there are two little blocks that hold the art...it would be nice if they included three...but a solution for me wold be to drill a few more holes in the work-surface near the bottom that way i can place the blocks closer together which would allow me to work on smaller pieces.

Arrived damaged.
I decided to get one being offered as used - like new. It said just the packaging would be damaged, but the ball had actually cracked where it meets the board, so it was not attached when I got it. I tried to reattach it, but the screws that were supposed to hold it in just weren’t working so it was very wobbly. I returned it. Seems like iffy construction even though the board was nice and thick. I don’t think I’ll order another one though.
