I never tinted before, this is good roll to practice on since you get a lot of material. I don't know about time but it seemed easy to install to me. I just watched a bunch of videos on how to apply tint and shrink. The color seems good and no issues from me, since I knew what I was getting into with no experience at all at install it. Biggest thing for me is preparing the surface before install.

Honest opinion: I want to start by saying the tint is great. Cuts easy (you still need to spray it with your soapy water) and shrinks great (does not burn with a heat gun very quickly)this makes installing easier than other brands that I have worked with. With this being carbon it gives fantastic heat rejection and makes driving comfortable. Background: This is the second time I bought this tint, the first time was a year ago now. I had to retint a few windows because of kids and it was my first time tinting and I screwed it up the first time. Issues: Now for the only issue. I bought the exact same tint in the exact same shade. From the photo you can see the difference in color. Now this could be from the first one fading over time but the new 5% is darker than the old 5%. Other points of note: The film removes from the tint easiest with packing tape. This tint gives you a nice thickness and durability without causing issues for windows to roll down. Yes it is darker on the outside than the inside but it is still dark on the inside. Helping you choose the shade: The larger and more windows on your vehicle the darker the tint will need to be to make the vehicle feel dark enough. 20% on a single cab truck will feel darker than 20% on a minivan. Remember you need to drive at night... Limo tint(5%) is dark and you cannot see things easily at night like... Street signs. After my purchase I will now stick with this brand. At first I went to my local autozone/ O’Reilly store to purchase the gila brand tint but it’s true you get what you pay for. The 2.5 limo tint looked like a cheap 5% still able to see through my vehicle along with the creases that were hard to get rid of. Long story short I wanted to try this brand and when I tell you I’m blown away I am truly blown away. I purchased the 1% and when I tell you that you cannot see in my car that’s exactly what I wanted. Also no creases or bubbles and tint is of good quality. I will purchase again in the future.

It does everything as it is described but the adhesive backing lacks bonding so the edges don’t cling on and adhere as it should. Privacy features as it should, blocks UV rays, and looks great overall overall. As said, good quality product as described but adhesive backing could use improvement. Should I need replacement tint - I would not buy this product again. Hope this helps.

My first time ever tinting. Watched lots of YouTube tutorials. Feel confident I can do it. I’m pimpin’ my mom’s ride while she is away on vacay for a surprise. Got around to do it today and tinting is harder than it looks. I can't put the car in my garage so had to work it outside in the wind. Not a great idea. I messed up on my first 2 attempts on one window. I planned on tinting everything except the front windows and windshield on the 2014 CRV. I managed get both rear windows done, not the prettiest at no fault of the tint, all me. Now I don’t have enough tint to do the rear tailgate. Should have gotten more than 15 ft. Especially if you’re a noob. The quality of the tint ain’t that bad, especially for the price. If I didnt mess up I could have finished the job for $21 bucks. Only blemish is the color is slightly blue, I’d rather a warmer hue but not a deal breaker. I got the 50% since my Mom is in her 70s now and didn’t want to go too dark, but I want her to have some privacy. During the day you can hardly tell it’s tinted, but as the sun goes down it’s noticeable and harder to see inside, as pictured. I order another roll of 15ft so I could finish it off. I say this is a good tint to learn on. My Moms car is 11 yrs old so don’t really have to be professionally done. It was a fun experience which I may try many more times on beater cars to get good at it.

Super pour mes custodes peu bombées. Mais pour ma vitre arrière, qui elle parcontre est très bombée et petite (Yaris 2005) ça ne va pas du tout, le thermoformage fait des plis... Je ne suis pas un pro mais je pensais qu'il était de meilleur qualité... Déçu

Easy to learn with and very forgiving. For reference, I have a Jeep Patriot and had enough for three windows, in case anyone’s curious about the length.
