I loved this set, the tips were the perfect size, they're very durable, and have held up to many baking incidents, they were quite cheap in my opinion considering the amount of tips you get, the reusable bag however is the size of the leaf tips, not the larger russian tips, which is what bumped it down to four stars, but overall a great product.

I couldn’t wait to use these tips! I watched a few videos on YouTube before using them. After watching some instructional videos I felt I was ready to tackle it. As you can see, they worked beautifully. You have to twist back and forth to create this look. These tips leave an opening in the middle which you can fill in with frosting to make it look like the center of a flower or in this case I used a heart shaped jelly candy because these were for Valentine’s Day. I highly recommend watching the videos to make it easier to learn how to use these tips. I like all of the different designs and they are very well-made. The only thing that I didn’t like was the size of the disposable bags they give you which are super small. These would be better used if you’re doing leaves or small flowers with other tips. But with these large tips you really do need large bags. These bags only hold enough frosting for three cupcakes at the most. Which makes for so much more work then if you’re using a large bag. So take my advice and buy some large disposable bags so you don’t have to constantly be refilling them. But the tips and couplers are really outstanding and I can’t wait to use them on other designs. Another thing you can do is to pipe out flowers on parchment on a cookie sheet and freeze them. Then you peel them off the parchment or wax paper and stick them right on top of your cake or a cupcake. For these cupcakes I made chocolate cupcakes and then I put a peanut butter frosting on top and piped on a vanilla buttercream using the tips. I highly recommend these tips and I think they would even be good for someone who is a beginner in Frosting. I’m very pleased!

The ring that holds the tip onto the coupler was very difficult to get off the tip and even more difficult to put back on with the extra thickness of the piping bag. Hopefully it's made of sturdy enough plastic that it doesn't break when I try to use it. I'm definitely going to have to practice using this even though I've been doing simple decoration for decades. I am looking forward to trying them when I have the correct frosting needed for it to work.
