Don't Expect Too Much
We just bought a vacation home and I didn't want to haul my Dewalt tools back and forth with me. I wanted a set to leave there. I'm not planning to build anything, but put furniture together or hang some stuff up or tighten things up. Bought this set because it was on-sale during prime days and just received it. You can tell right away the quality difference between this and the dewalt drill/impact driver and other tools that I have. Black and Decker made it known that it's made in China. It's on each tool basically. The bag is somewhat worthless. Probably only good for the drill, but I wouldn't want to throw all the tools in there unless you want to go digging. A cheap bag from Harbor Freight would be nicer. At least they have pockets and slots to organize your tools. If I end up keeping this set, I'll just leave the tools in the package it came in. At least it's organized in there. I'll update my rating once I actually use it, if I even keep it. So, if you have higher quality tools, you might be disappointed. If it wasn't on sale, I'll probably send it back.

Excellent
Been hemming and hawing about getting a cordless drill...it was getting annoying pulling a cord out and trailing it around to drill one or two holes. This eliminates that... I wish I got it sooner!I was debating on Milwaukee and Dewalt.. .but they are so pricey... at the cost of this plus all the goodies that came with it.... Id say this is a good value.. .I odn;t do a lot of drilling... maybe I se it several times a year max... but this is convenient cause i just oplug the battery in and go... it charges easily as well and ity seems to last a while... i used it to mount 4 itemson one charge so aout 16 drill holes and it handled it no prob... this is good for light duty. My corded B and D dril lhas lasted over 15 years... so im not too worried about getting a decent amount of use out of thsis unit.

Great Value
Purchased during prime day. The only thing I wish it included was a hardcover case to put all the drill bits and such. Rather than having everything be thrown together in a fabric bag.

Good!
Got this product for basic handyman use - hanging up shelves and mirrors and things, putting together furniture, basic appliance repair, etc. etc. I can't believe this was so cheap. The drill works great on drywall and getting into wooden studs. Battery life is amazing. I did nearly a whole week-long project on one charge, working about 8 to10 hours a day through the afternoon and well into evening. Dropped the drill a few feet a couple times and it was fine. The parts that came with it do the job. One of the phillips heads got a little chewed up but that's because we had a bad angle on a nasty screw more than once and we didn't want to go get a long drill extension like we should have. I'm a small woman and had no problem holding the drill up for long periods in one hand while stabilizing a shelf with my other, and not too many issues getting it to do what I needed it to do.Overall nothing to complain about in regards to the drill. I use my other interchangeable screwdriver rather than the one that came in this kit, but that's because I had it first and I'm used to it. The one in the kit has more options for heads, though. I'm sure it'd be fine if I wanted to swap over. The pliers are pliers and the adjustable wrench works fine, even in tight-ish spots. Haven't used either long enough to see how they'd hold up over time.In the end: I like it. Not sure how it would do for more intensive projects, but if you want something for around the house this'll work fine.

GREAT for basics or first-timers/Not good for professionals
REVIEW DISCLOSURE:In no way, shape, or form am I a handy man expert. I'm just your typical "keeping up with the maintenance" homeowner and only recently getting into DIY projects. I made my purchase in 2019 and I feel now i have had it long enough to review. Hope this helps!DRILL/CHARGER/BATTERY:All of these work great and perform the job as needed. I couldn't tell you how long the battery last or how long it takes to charge. But I have yet to do something to where the battery dies on me. All are great for basic maintenance and beginners. Tip: i recommend the impact driver if you plan on doing a LOT of work or if you're into woodworking. Makes life easier.STORAGE BAG/TAPE MEASURE:The storage bag is pretty cheaply made and tore around the top zipper linings fairly quickly. I still have the bag but, overall, its plain (no pockets or anything) and its weak. The tape measure, I think, is also cheaply made but I guess because of its size it feels somewhat sturdy. Its not a long tape and it's not "TOO" flimsy but it also does the smaller jobs as needed.PLIERS & ADJUSTABLE WRENCH:I haven't really used the adjustable wrench but I know its pretty tiny. Not sure how useful it would be or if it will break on you. The needle nose pliers work great and get the job done as needed. Recently, the slip joint pliers came apart on me but I was able to put it back together. Its pretty sturdy and was working fine for a long time but I would say its pretty cheap if you plan on using it alot or are a pro.UTILITY KNIFE/HAMMER:The hammer is strong, sturdy, and gets the job done as needed. I think its just a bit smaller than most other hammers sold individually but it'll get basic jobs done. And it feels like it will last. The utility knife is pretty flimsy and the locking mechanism comes off fairly easily. I still have it. Hardly use it, but if you plan on using it a lot I recommend get a higher quality individual one elsewhere.SCREWDRIVING BITS/DRILL BITS/NUTDRIVERS/MAGNETIC BIT HOLDER/SPADE BITS/HOLE SAWS:The screwdriving bits work great. If your basic, or even a hobbyist, they will last. The general purpose drill bits work just fine too. I used about 3 different sizes and the smaller ones broke on me but I would say it was after a fair amount of time using them. Plus i extensively used them recently getting into woodworking as a hobby. I've yet to use spade bits or hole saws. They seem to be ok and pretty sturdy. I feel they will last but not sure how they will cut/drill. The nut drivers and magnetic bit holder work just fine and get basic jobs done.SCREWDRIVERS:I saved the worst for last. THESE THINGS SUCK. The rachet screwdriver broke on first use. I didn't even drop it. I was simply applying "typical" pressure and some mechanism snapped. Idk if its repairable but it happened a long time ago. I remember being angry but luckily I had another one (different brand) that I had around the house. The flat head and Phillips are useless. They are strong and would last.....if they were usable. The thickness of the flat head seems ridiculous. And the Phillips head too. I don't think I have found a screw head that would fit. I am about to donate them but, honestly, if they are all made that way...I don't think even the basic of basic projects/jobs could get done.OVERALL:I am very happy with this purchase. Pretty sure if you take all the good tools and purchase them individually you would still be saving with this purchase. Great for first time homeowners or perhaps a kid getting his own apt/place for the first time on his own. I know that professionals would probably bash this product but, again, I am happy with my purchase which is why I gave it an overall 4, not 5, stars.

Good to Have Around the House
The media could not be loaded. I bought this drill set so that I could drill some holes in our desks to hide the cables.Pro: Cost, drill works fine for drilling the hole in wood, assembling IKEA firntitue, drilling pilot holes and drilling holes in drywalls for anchors decent power for the priceCons: Cheap plastic feel to drill but what do you expect? Battery life (after drilling four holes in our desks it needed to re-charge the battery. Wish the carry bag had some compartments inside but again for the price what can you expect? The best way to summarize this drill is that it’s a good drill to have around the house for small DYI things like assembling furniture, cabinets or drilling holes in drywall. Not intended for every day use. If you’re using this drill quite often or plan to build a tree house or fence then get a real one like Milwaukee, Dewalt or Makita. It’s like going to Burger King. A Junior Whopper and a real Whopper both fill you up but which one is more satisfying?

Dont buy this junk!!!
Junk --- tools are garbage-- hammer was bent ( how is that possible)Box says $150 value that should be $1.50 value --- i only got this today and i was so upset i had to cool down for a bit.Amazon should be embarrassed and Black&Decker(only a brand name-- sold off years ago) should be ashamed to stamp their name on this Dollar store tool set--- returning for refund -- shameful-- i should have read more reviews

Drill weak, tools feel cheap, possible knock off?
Drill was weak and tools felt poor quality and cheap, returned this and went to my local hardware store and bought the Black & Decker BDC120VA100 20-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion Drill Kit with 100 Accessories for 69.99 cdn and immediately noticed the difference. The drill was able to crank up to a power of 22 with a drill option (this one only goes up to 10) and the bits had a noticeably better quality. This one has a lot of (CHINA) stickers on everything making me feel like this kit is a cheap knock off of the actual Black + Decker cordless drill. I'd stay away from this one.URL to kit I bought:https://www.amazon.ca/Black-Decker-BDC120VA100-Lithium-Ion-Accessories/dp/B0079IRIG0

Great value, decent materials
This tool set was the best in value when I looked in the Spring of 2020. Great bang for your buck for anyone needing a basic kit for home maintenance and fixtures. Though the materials could definitely be higher quality, I'm not complaining for the price! This is not for professional use, so we would recommend for personal at-home use.
