Perfect air fryer for the two of us.
This is a very useful appliance. It's compact, easy to use controls. No drop down menus on a tiny screen. Clean-up is a snap. Our kitchen does not get heated from the big oven in the stove. This is our fifth Cuisinart product, their quality and product design are top notch.

Great Looks, Great Performance – A Smart Upgrade!
I bought this Cuisinart air fryer/toaster oven to replace a more expensive model, and I’m so glad I did. It looks sleek and modern on the countertop—very clean stainless steel design—and performs beautifully across all its functions. I’ve used it for baking, broiling, air frying, and toasting, and everything cooks evenly and quickly. The controls are intuitive, and the interior is roomy enough for a variety of meals, from small pizzas to roasted veggies. One important tip: make sure to check the dimensions before buying—it’s a bit large and needs some clearance, especially in smaller kitchens. That said, it’s absolutely worth the counter space for the versatility and quality. I trust the Cuisinart brand, and this product lives up to that reputation. Highly recommend!

Overall excellent. But.
Originally this was a 5* review. This is an update after about 14 months of use.Pros:Overall, it's a wonderful appliance. Nothing I cooked came out poorly. I used it for lots of things. I got mine at a very reasonable price. A vast improvement over other methods of cooking. With one exception, I've been very happy with it. I liked the dials, the SS, even its presence on my kitchen counter. It did everything it was supposed to do, and did it well. It wasn't hard to learn and understand the settings. So why have I dropped a star and switched to another brand? Well...Con:It's a pain in the you-know-what to clean. It vaporizes any oil and spreads it throughout the interior which has lots of nooks and crannies. Since I cooked a lot of chicken in mine with the skin on, that meant cleaning it constantly. You aren't supposed to use a scrubby and they just recommend a light soapy water. After awhile, the joy of using it became more of a chore.I've since switched to another highly rated brand where what's cooked is in tempered glass, which can be put in the dishwasher or hand-washed, a much easier process.Your mileage may certainly vary. You may not cook the same things I do.I would give this 4 1/2 stars because it really does everything well. But it's too much like cleaning your microwave or regular oven every time you use it. It's not like cleaning a pot or a pan.

A solid toaster/air-fryer
This is my 5th Cuisinart toaster/oven. My 2nd toaster/air-fryer.My last one has digital controls and it was getting out of sync with the physical knobs after about 2+ years usage. It is still usable but is hard to zero in the temperature and the function I wanted. That is why I bought this one with all mechanical controls. By comparison, this one is more like retrofitting a toaster with an oven into one box. It is not as logically laid out as the digital control one that I had. But as long as it can last, if it will be, I don't mind. The toaster function cannot select the number of slices as my old one. However the result is this one seems to me has better toasting results. The fan cannot be separately controlled as my old oven but I don't care for this ability. The heating elements were bare in my old oven. Now they are shielded with a radiator-like metal. I think this is an improvement cause some the food I put in {using the top shelf for air-frying} is almost touching the heating elements.I am happy with this purchase but with couple concerns:1) The packaging uses two boxes making it very hard to take out one after the other.2) Inside the package, the air-fryer mesh is stored in the oven while the tray/griddle/rack is stored at the bottom of the box. This making the tray/griddle/rack easily missed and tossed away by accident as implied by other reviewers stated missing tray/rack.3) The tray is now made of some aluminum-looking material while my old Cuisinart had a stainless steel tray. I prefer stainless steel.4) It is stated in the product page that there are forever plastics in the griddle and may be in the tray. This should be avoided especially when the environment is with high temperature. These are just my concerns but not enough for me not to give it a full 5-star review.

The perfect appliance!
The Cuisinart combo has been a lifesaver for me. Just the accessibility alone (as opposed to reaching up or down to use regular ovens) is enough to recommend it. It's perfect for people living alone who want home-cooked meals, made with ease. The air-fryer has been a revelation--cooks almost everything in much less time than a regular oven. Learning to use it is easy with the included instruction book.

Great air fryer
A gift. It is used and well liked. I like it because it has a toast setting mine doesn’t have. It’s a bit more expensive than some, but a good name brand

Pros and cons, still worth buying
This air fryer has pros and cons, but the cons are fixable. Overall, I love this air fryer! The little “ding” when it’s done is cute and not annoying. The knobs are easy to understand and use. It really cooks anything and everything. The cons are with the crumb and bottom trays. They are impossible to clean once they get baked stuff on them because they are not non-stick, then it ends up smoking. I ended up buying new trays and for the bottom tray I use a silicone baking mat. Works great! For the crumb tray, I wrapped it in foil and now it’s super easy to clean, doesn’t get Smokey or anything.
