Pigeon problem solved
Why did you choose this product over others?:Was fed up with pigeons sitting on edge of conservatory making noise and messing everywhere around Have used these to edge area and pigeons have got the message and gone elsewhere. Easy to fit together and with the use of double sided tape was a really quick and effective solution

It works well
It was actually smaller (narrower) than I imagined but is made from good materials so that made up for it.The photos always seem to make the products look bigger than they actually are anyway. The base that wires fit into is quite flexible, not the brittle plastic that easily snaps when you bend it.There are actually lines at a set distance along the base where you can snap it by bending back and forth until it breaks, so you can make smaller pieces if you need them. Best to do this before attaching the wire spikes, which is achieved by simply pushing the spike into the slots in the base. The wire looks flimsy but once filled is quite firm in the base as it snaps in place. One area of caution when fitting the spikes is to make sure you grip them firmly as I had one spring back out at me as I hadn’t pushed it in far enough. It needs a bit of force to fit it into the base but it will eventually snap into place. It’s not complicated and once you have done a couple you will find it a breeze.I bought them as I had problems with cat’s walking along the top of my fence and constantly setting of my security cameras and getting security alerts sent to my phone. Since fitting I have had no more alerts so it must be working 🤞.I had the plastic spike strips on the fence before, but they just walked along it as though it wasn’t there. I think these being taller spikes visually puts them off as well. There is no way they can walk along these now.

Effective but small
I bought these bird spikes to stop the pigeons shtng on my newly painted fence, unfortunately dark brown paint doesn't disguise white bird poo.I only bought a pack of 6 and spread them out, 3 per fence panel. They have been surprisingly effective, the pigeons can no longer stroll up and down my fence taking a turd whenever they fancy. Even though there are gaps between they rarely try to land in them, so it's solved my problem. I was going to buy more but even with spaces it's cut down the birds massively. They're shorter than I expected though. Make sure when you assemble the spikes you put the first X ones in longitudinal so they snap in flush. I learned the hard way 😏
