Well received and I got major cool points
He loves Pokémon and really wanted the Japanese printed ones. Pokémon card trading is super popular with the kids these day and I don’t know anything about it but he loves them and talks about Pokémon all the time.I found a seller that has authentic Japanese print Pokémon cards and he got a Charizard card that he didn’t have before. I don’t know why they’re so special but apparently to him it was super cool.The look on his face is all the thanks needed. He was super excited to get them and the noise of exclamation upon seeing what was inside was great! LOL!!This is very giftable and I think a good value since I didn’t know what type of store I could go to physically.

My kiddo seemed pretty impressed with the quality of these Japanese cards. They were worth the birthday money he spent on them.

REAL cards!
Japanese cards are lighter than English. Also holos on Japanese peel off like a sticker because American cards have an extra layer on there holos. Also Japanese cards have a glossier finish and feel smoother to the touch than English. Cards also pass the rip test! Japanese have a blue layer in between while English has black! Hope this helps!
