Second album and long-awaited solo debut from IRA ATARI on AUDIOLITH. Audiolith, usually well known for rave-sound with german(critical) lyrics, now gets a new face. Supported JA!KOB (FRITTENBUDE), IRA ATARI produced 12 songs, which she self quite succinctly calles "Electric power pop," .In her english texts she not only issues female self-empowerment ("She`s The One", "Miss progression") or interpersonal relationships ("Back To Zero", "Do not Want to Miss You", "Hang On" ), also an old love song, made in 1560 gets a contemporary adaptation. Songs like the electro-house smasher "Follow" and the lascivious groovy "Do not Let Me Down" improving this release. Between dancefl oor electro and synth pop, disco and newwave, "Shift" is a surprisingly charming and independent album
