AL PRINCIPIO NOS COSTÓ TRABAJO PONER LA LATA DE GAS PORQUE LA BOTABA PERO LE SACAMOS UN POCO DE GAS PARA BAJAR LA PRESIÓN Y SOLUCIONADO.

Heat at the far end is a little soft compared to the rest of pan, but the unit works well and cleans easy. I used butane cans from ace hardware they work fine.

This machine is such a work of art and honestly makes cooking takoyaki a fun thing to do whether solo, for guests, or with friends. I've actually tested this outside also during a windy day and while i'll say that it does require an absolutely leveled position, it is def usable even outdoors (although better inside). It evenly cooks the takoyaki for the most part and although at times it feels like one or two of the outside edge slots don't heat as consistent as some others, i tend to just swap some takoyaki over if some cook faster than the others. Also 2nd batch cooks much faster due to the preheating from the last batch if you plan to make a lot which is nice. Honestly the takoyaki made tends to taste better than the restaurant stuff and its less costly for more quantity while also being fun to do. It's a win win in every category. Product is easy to clean and managed to take regular in store butane canisters (used Canadian Tire brand ones, and don't have to opt their proprietary butane cans which is nice). I have yet to make anything else besides takoyaki on this machine but I will experiment with some of their suggested recipes eventually. If you want recommendations on takoyaki supplies, I used Otafuku brand takoyaki mix and takoyaki sauce, and it tasted amazing. I will try making my own takoyaki mix with dashi powder (bonito stock) eventually Edit: I have successfully made takoyaki flour from dashi powder (bonito stock) and it is significantly cheaper and potentially better than buying premade takoyaki flour, especially if you cant find it in local stores. The recipe I used for Takoyaki flour: -1 cup of all purpose flour (160g) -2 cups of water -2 eggs -1 tablespoon/2 packets (TBSP) of dashi stock (bonito stock) -1 teaspoon of soy sauce (optional for salt flavoring) This makes roughly 30 takoyaki balls, so if you wanna make more or less then you gotta math it

This is a great product! The heat spreads evenly with no cold spots. My previous takoyaki maker had uneven heating, so I had to constantly move the batter around—but not with this one. It’s very well made, and I highly recommend it!
