WOW!!!!!!!! Now THIS is a strong magnet! Crackling under my skin heard!!
I am using this for magnet therapy and moving/removing certain heavy metals- sounds crazy but I hear stuff moving. The only thing is DON'T let the two get stuck together it is super hard getting them apart! I know, my therapeutics are odd, but I can tell you that for magnet therapy these work. For storage I put them on either side of cardboard so I have a way to slide one off to use. I have a small sticker on the top of each so I can tell how to not place them. Very good purchase for the money. Do NOT let this next to your computer, credit cards, etc!!! Have fun.

Strong, but not for erasing magnetic tapes.
Nothing against the strength of these magnets; they’re very powerful. However, I bought them hoping to use them for erasing miniDV tapes. Regrettably, they only erase them in spots, despite my best efforts. They are very powerful, however, and would probably excel at other tasks.

Brittle
Very strong magnets! But very brittle. When I unpacked them, they already had a chunk taken out. I imagine from the shipping, even though they were shipped very well. I purchased two, and pulling them apart is an art form. You have to slide them apart. If you try and pull them apart, you’re gonna break something! lol Like I said; very strong. Putting them together again is another art form! You can very easily hurt yourself if you don’t do it correctly. I imagine they can break fingers pretty easily when they slam together. It comes with a plastic separator ring, which you should keep and use when you’re placing them together and putting them away. I made the mistake of trying to put the together by just dropping them on my bed fairly close to each other and letting them do the work. This caused a pretty good sized chunk to get broken off. The metal is really hard, and not very dense at all. Almost like particle metal. I’ve had many magnets in my time, and they are usually a little brittle, but nothing like these. So, they’re good magnets as long as you’re careful with them and not let them get away from you. I would definitely keep them away from children!

Strong
I use a lot of magnets for projects. I have found these to be strong and durable. You can break neodymium magnets but this brand seems to be more durable. I used this magnet and their version with a hole in it with some epoxy to make a magnetic kilt pin out of a 2 inch challenge coin. The two magnets sandwich the kilt fabric and keep the heavy medallion style kilt pin in place all day. Highly recommend.

Strong!
I bought these for a project. I tried the same diameter of magnets that were thinner, and they weren't strong enough. These magnets are STRONG! They worked when nothing else would.

A strong magnet
It's not overly large, yet it has a large magnetic pull. It works perfectly for my purposes.

Returning!!! Not Neodymium… or at least very far from pure.
I know magnets. These are not what they are advertised to be. A true Nd magnet with the dimensions of 30mm x 20mm (even though what I received is slightly under that) a true Nd magnet would have an incredible amount of pull off force. No chance you would be able to do it bare hand. I can pull these magnets off of solid stock steel with my index finger and my thumb alone. I’m quite frustrated because I bought these for a project and I already had my holes drilled to embed these magnets. Not only are they slightly smaller than advertised. They won’t even come close to the holding force that’s required for my project. On top of the magnets, being weak, unlike any other true quality magnet you purchase the edges are rough. The coating is very poor. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere unfortunately I got conned into these because they were expensive enough to be quality magnets. I already have them back in the box and will be returning asap.

Great magnets. Holds up all paperwork.

sehr, sehr starke Magnete. Wir hatten sogar Schwierigkeiten die beiden Magnete auseinander zu bringen. Ging nun mit Werkzeug.
