Just like they were 25 years ago! Good quality and performance. String is longer....suitable for older kids. My six year old will have a tough time....more suitable for maybe 8 or 10 years old.

Leider funktioniert es nicht. Auch wir Erwachsenen konnten nur mit Mühe die Schnur aufrollen, das Yoyo rollt nicht in die Höhe. Leider ist der Rückgabetermin verstrichen, da es erst danach verschenkt wurde.

I've been yo-yoing for a number of months now. I've bought and tried out about 20 different types of yo-yo. I was excited to try this one. I was severely disappointed. This is a responsive yoyo, with starburst response system. It has a plastic axle cover. It should be very responsive. It's not. No matter what I try, when I throw it, there is a lag before the response kicks in and pulls up. Even my partner who doesn't yo-yo noticed it when I was playing and couldn't believe it. With my good looping yoyos, I can do 20 loops in a row. With this I can't do one. I tried adding some bearing oil. I tried a different string. I played it for about 10 minutes before giving up and putting it back in the box to return it. On the plus side, the box looks great. I love how you open the top and the yoyo is sitting right there. The yellow transparent color was great. I so badly wanted to love this yoyo, and I'm so disappointed that I hate it so much. My two favorites for looping have been the sunrise and Henry's Coral snake. But they are both more considerably expensive than this one. But what's the point in a looping yo-yo, if it can't loop. I couldn't even do around the world with it.

I am a novice YoYo'er, I wanted to do this with my daughter since I did this when I was a kid... This string sticks regularly, and getting the yoyo to return is difficult. The string material is not ideal (in my opinion).
