Exact replacement
My LG dishwasher (LDF7774ST) was randomly starting to not drain all the way after a wash. I checked the drain hose and filter, everything was clear. So I decided to swap out the drain pump, and that fixed the problem. I pulled out the entire dishwasher thinking I would need to do it to get to the pump- you don't need to do that. All you have to do it remove the lower front kick plate, and the drain pump is easily accessible from the front. One wire connector and two drain hoses. Just make sure it all goes in the same way- if a hose is not ran the correct direction, it will get squished and apply pressure when you set the dishwasher back down due to there being no clearance space. The hose will disconnect, leaving water everywhere. If you just don't remove the dishwasher then you wont have to worry about squishing the drain line.

This part saved us SO much money in a repair person
One night I heard the dishwasher sounding "off". I shrugged. A short while later I heard it chime weirdly. it wasn't draining. I had recently cleaned the trap so I figured it was the pump- besides, the weird sound almost guaranteed it was just the pump. One I figured out which part it was I wanted a decent price but wanted to be sure the part was legit. This was perfect. Turns out I didn't need the WHOLE assembly- just the little motorized pump part. I didn't realize how easily they come apart. So I took this apart- THAT wasn't easy- then took apart the one on the dishwasher (after turning off the power supply). That was a little harder bc it's tight under my dishwasher. but it worked, went back together easily and drained like it was brand new! A quick YouTube video helped but dishwashers are fairly simple machines. I'm a "handy mom" though, I always fix things in our house. We have an LG LDF7774ST for the record. I'll never buy LG again, I'll tell you that. We got a whole suite of new LG appliances when we bought our house and have had issues with ALL except the washer and drier. The microwave has run, beeped and food came out frozen. The fridge died and now there is a class action lawsuit against them for it bc it's clearly a chronic issue, the oven has had heating issues and they refunded me bc they couldn't get a service person out to even LOOK at it (this was 2 years ago) and now the broken drain pump on the dishwasher. But this part worked and worked well. I recommend it, so far!

Received the replacement pump on time and had it installed professionally. The repairman was impressed that I was able to get the part as fast as I did. Working fine.

Fixed the slow drain "OE" problem
After searching online for slow drain/no drain problem, I found videos on YouTube showing the exact OE code issue. Simple replacement, but you don't even need to remove the dishwasher to swap if you can reach it by removing the bottom plate. The only thing I needed out of the ordinary was a double jointed pliers to remove/install the hose clamp that goes to the basin. I didn't want to remove the entire washer because it sat below the finished floor and it would have been a hassle. If it had been at floor grade, I think you could swap this out in under 15 minutes.First run we just ran empty, it still drained slow, but I believe that was due to the air gap that was in the line, which was created when disconnecting the drain hose. Second run ran perfect, so dont panic.4 stars due to the difficult hose clamp. If the squeeze ends were a little closer or if it were slightly easier to squeeze it would be 5 stars. Pump itself runs great so far!

Fixed Drain Code Problem
Compared to original LG labeled pump, this OEM pump appears to have some upgrades. Suction pipe has extra plastic cast on bottom, and motor housing is a tad taller however did not pop open to look at windings. Old pump appears to have bad / loose bearings, did not fail electrically (7 Ohm resistances). Hoping this pump works 8 yrs like original, or more. While had pump out could get at basin float switch so cleaned that out as it had a fair amount of slime in it, as well as suction check valve flap, which was in good shape.
