For all intents and purposes this iron will heat up instantly, by the time you've removed it from the stand and started to work it's ready to go. Very impressive, coming from other integrated-heater soldering irons with 8+ second heating times. This is really the only iron that I would feel comfortable leaving at an idle temperature on the stand and be confident it will always be ready to roll by the time I start using it.No complaints about the user interface, though it is a little cryptic getting started, figuring how to change settings (Holding down a channel button and powering on the stand). Once everything is setup it works like a dream.My only complaint is that I can't find a source for a handle that will accept the larger C245 tips. It's really impossible to emphasize just how tiny the C210-style tips are, and I'm a little worried about their longevity given just how little surface area there is to accept solder and normal wear and tear. I'm not concerned about snapping them off as some people have mentioned, but that tip oxidation will quickly render the tip unusable without some extra maintenance to get it to accept a solder bead again.Great product, but wow are the tips small!

The unit seems identical to the Aifen/Sugon A9 units, and I ordered and have been using those units for quite some time now. I bought this and expected to have a functional station, however, the handle simply wouldn't fit the supplied Magma tips as they only go partially into the handle. The tips fit into any of my other T210 handles and would work with the station so the supplied handle was at fault.In the attached picture, the 210 handle supplied is on the right and one of my working ones is on the left.

It seems no one reads descriptions t210 and t12 are two different sizes the A8 uses t12 tips and the a9 uses t210 so if your wondering why your tips for the A9 don't work for the A8 or vice versa that's why they are not cross compatible I don't own either but it clearly states it in the description I will be ordering one soon though

Excellent selection of tips. Iron heats up super quick, works very fast. Can’t beat it for the price!
