Honestly bought this as a impulse buy for my warhammers. Didn't even read the specs before I bought it. It arrived and I was surprised to see the size of it. One of them scenarios where you bought it and not only do they deliver they exceed your expectations. 100 percent happy with this, however I must refrain on amazon shopping whilst under the influence of alcohol.

When I first got it, it was rolled in the much to large box. Eventually it flattened out, I now have it hung on a pants hanger in my closet, which keeps it relatively straight.My biggest issue is when I cut fleece, the fibres get stuck in the cut lines. I have soaked the mat, put some Dishsoap on it, and tried to Scrub with a toothbrush. But I can't get the fibers out, and I believe it's not allowing me to cut as easily anymore.I would definitely spend my money on a better quality mat.

This allows the mat to double as a smooth surface for writing, unlike the Martha Stewart mat that I had for years which is now filled with gouges.* This mat works especially well for precision crafting such as card making or scrap booking as it features measurement guides on both sides. The diagonal and circle guidelines are a definite plus that other cutting mats may not offer. I was also quite surprised to find myself using them more than I had expected.* Finally, the black & white design goes well with my monochromatic room--an aesthetic win over the popular Olfa mats. Why sacrifice form for function when I can have both?In a nutshell...At this price point, this mat is well worth every dollar. Don't frustrate over three alternatives, you just need one and this is it.

I cut mount card on this and have no problems.

I can't lie this mat is very slightly expensive but the quality is very good and it's got that double side thing, overall definitely recommend and it does the job i would expect a good cutting mat to do. :)
