When they arrived, I was a little worried because they were a little crumbly and they were light gray. But when I placed them in the water, they became dark grey which looks really good. My fish tank turned a bit cloudy but then it went down. My fish loves it and everything seems fine... so far :) Also it was hard to keep them standing up because the water would push over all the rocks but once I got it secure, it hasn't fallen once. Also, they were a bit smaller then expected but not too bad. You can put them however you like and whatever shape you like. Overall 5 starts :)

The slate quality is a very good grade. The rocks were shipped in enough packing to preserve the large pieces. I used superglue to saturate small pieces of tissue to glue the pieces together. Then I wrapped Christmas moss with thread over the rocks. My blue cherry shrimp love cleaning the biofilm and hiding on the cave areas. I had an extra rock and glued Anubias to it. I think the rocks are beautiful.

Overall item is as described. Personally was taken back to how small item actually was, was hoping to use it as a basking spot for my adult bearded dragon. But is just too small. Might be good for a baby beardie or smaller reptile.

These are perfect for our freshwater aquarium.

They could have been bigger i know it says 2 to 3 but like more 1 to 2 and long piece was long but not wide enough for bearded dragon basking spot

Too small for price

My little yellow belly turtle has grown really fast. He’s gotten a little fat lol but stacking these up nicely and get on his basking knock easier. He also likes to sleep on top. It’s a good value for the money.. They are very sturdy.. They look great.. I like the color of them and they’re a nice weight. I would definitely recommend these. None of mine came broken like other people’s reviews. I do recommend these.

These were really fun and easy to work with. My daughter and I created 2 unique rock formations for our aquariums.

Real rock it rocks

Very impressed with the slate rocks. They look exactly like the picture. Each slate was individually wrapped to avoid chipping when being shipped. Overall very happy with the product.

Partly poor reading but also horrible discrimination. The largest one fist in my hand the rest might cover it 2x. Maybe only good for fist tanks and small ones at that.
