On issue that seems to be somewhat prevalent with this product is leaky lids. I just wanted to say that my jar was sealed very tightly and there was no leakage.I really like the taste of the chili crisp oil and I add to just about everything savory. The cost is much less than a name brand and I think I like this one better.

This chili crisp oil is incredible. It transforms simple grilled chicken into a hair-raising (because of the heat) experience.I love the different flavors you get in each spoonful, and every bite gets you different textures of the peanut and taro and other ingredients. The heat level is not high.This jar is a very good value for the money. At some Asian or specialty markets you would pay more per ounce for those smaller jars... and you would want to buy more right away anyway, because this stuff is addictive.This was shipped well packed, and there was no leakage from the jar.

This stuff is delicious. It is very umami, I use it lightly to be more umami, but the heat is buildable, just add more. I didn't taste any sweetness, which a different reviewer had mentioned. It was very well packaged, but was a little greasy upon arrival. No issues once the bottle was wiped.

Bright red, and almost glows in the dark. But actually, not quite as spicy as expected.Just use a little more than you thought necessary.My opinion: If it doesn't make your nose run, it's too bland.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is the real deal and the best size for my household. The small jars found in grocery stores don't last long. Maybe because I can eat this by the spoonful! A spoonful on rice with canned tuna (in oil) and topped with minced scallions is my go to comfort food. The taste, texture, and heat level are in comparable to the brand X's that are jumping on the Lao Gan Ma bandwagon.

This stuff is AMAZING. Most importantly, the flavour is unbelievable. It's got a gentle heat (I'd call it mild to medium spice), it's LOADED with crunchy bits, but it's the umami that really sings. I've been putting this on EVERYTHING....any "Asian-adjacent" dish, but also salads, eggs, veg, whatever. Kick up your instant ramen, flavour your rice, bring new life to your burger; this stuff is seriously addictive and versatile. And the fact that you get a HUGE jar for like $14 is just icing on the cake. Delicious, spicy, garlicky, icing.

I bought a jar just to have in the house, ya know another flavor in the rotation. I came home to find it nearly half gone, husband eats it with a spoon. From the bits I got to enjoy it was perfect in all styles off eggs and in several ramens. The glass jar arrived well wrapped and intact. Obviously I’ll be buying again.
